Bio-Rad Slab Dryer Model 483 Up for auction is a used Bio-Rad Slab Dryer Model 483 that is in good physical condition. There are a couple scratches and scuff marks on the casing. But nothing major. There is also a little bit of scraped off finish on the top and a single screw missing. The screw missing is one of four that hold the heater pad on the top and can probably be easily replaced. For more information on the cosmetic condition please refer to the pictures below. Item Information: Catalog No. 165-1965. Serial No. 93BR 5580. When testing. The Slab Dryer powered on and ran without any hiccups. I was able to set the timer and run the heater which ran for the duration of testing. Both the 60*C and 80*C settings worked and changed the temperature settings appropriately. I am unable to check the exact temperature that the unit reached.
