This instrument has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected and the coolant has been replaced with new tyfoxit coolant solution. Unfortunately. The vacutome system was not functioning in this cryostat, and rather than repair or replace it, we opted to just remove it. So, to be clear, this system is missing the vacutome system. Not having this system will not affect any of the other features of the cryostat. Most microtomes do not even have this option. We did test this microm fully and it works very well.
