Very Rare Vintage 19th Century Carl Zeiss Jena 2x medical glasses" Marked Carl Zeiss Jena 2x Made in Germany. These glasses may be one of the first medical lenses Carl Zeiss created in the 19th century. Carl Zeiss was born in 1816 and passed away in 1888 he is well know as one of the finest creators of lenses for many applications. I was told that these specific glasses went out of production in the 1800's. So I believe they may be one of his first medical glasses. These are VERY RARE!
