I have been told that these might be from the late 1800's early 1900's but I do not know. Also I do not know if they are in working conditions or not. The 2 front lenses that sit on the nose are missing I believe, unless they are designed to be open so they fit against your eyes. It definitely got some dust on it, I have never cleaned them, afraid to get them damaged or something. All the mechanisms work and move freely. Phoropter Leica in decent shape needs a couple pieces
This listing is a Leica Phoropter. Used but in decent condition. In pretty good cosmetic condition. All lenses appear to be in tact and move when the according knobs are turned. In decent shape, missing two knobs(one at the top and one above the Lombart tag; the piece that the knob turns is there though) and a guard on the back I believe. Also I think it is missing a bar on the front that goes up, and some of the screws are a little rusty, but that can most likely be easily fixed, but all other knobs are present and functional. And a few light scratches on the body from use. I honestly don't know much about this thing at all. I can give the best description I can through eBay. It is in working order as far as I can tell from testing it. This piece of equipment hasn't been used in a while so it more than likely needs to be calibrated ... moreand whatever else.
