This semen tank was purchased(brand new)in Australia and was used to send semen from Australia to the USA(by air) Since then the tank has been in our basement on a wooden pallet and has not been moved from the house except for several trips out to the machine shed during AI programs. It was only outside for a few hours each time and then was brought back into the house. It has been regularly filled with liquid nitrogen. It is totally functional as it came straight out of the lab. There is some minor paint scratching on the outside of the tank and on the blue lid. This is a great tank! Near new condition. I've used it and filled it twice. Always stored in my house. Since I stopped using it it's been in it's box. Which is shown in the pics and indoors. Also stored inside between uses. It is most like the"I 6R" that is on the inernational cryogenics website. They told me the hold times etc compare to the 6r. They still don't have the transporter specs on their site. The static hold time really is 30 days or slightly more. The working time. It was my experience, was also 30 days but I only used it for the one cow. Hence, at most, I got into it twice during those 30 days. I imagine if you use it more than the working time would be as stated on their site, 18 days. It holds 10L. It's light weight and easy to handle full or empty. It comes with one canister that holds +/ 65- ... more5 cc straws on canes. It can hold more canisters. I paid $375 for it. Not including shipping. As stated early it is in near new condition and will ship to you in the box it shipped to me in. The instructions are still attached. As seen in pic. If I had a herd. I would definitely use this as a transporter. If I lived nearby a place to fill it, I would still be using it. I bought it because I only have one cow and couldn't justify a big one. However. I did not anticipate the problems I have had getting it filled. None of the reps wanted to drive to my house and fill it, so I had to drive two hours round trip to get it filled myself. Once was okay, every month well, I ended up buying a huge tank that lasts 6 months. This is also listed on my local craigslist for $250 obo. If the auction ends early. You'll know why;

I filled this tank 2 or 3 times with liquid nitrogen before we decided to stop registering our cattle and cut out our Embyro Transfer program. It has since been in storage. It's basically unused and barely even has a scuff mark on it. The measuring stick goes with the tank.
