Anything needing fixing or replacing has been done and they are all rated by an experienced professional. This is a nice used set of Made in USA Variable Speed Sunbeam Stewart Oster Clipmaster EW610VS Body Clippers(510A Head) They are in clean and good condition and all ready for the person who needs to clip their four legged friend. They are 120v AC-DC. 50-60HZ, 150 watts. Just to make sure they are in good shape. I take my clippers to the clipper repair and service shop to have them all checked out before I list them. These are exactly how they were returned to me. Just to double check, I plugged them in, turned them on and tested them for myself and sounded fine and all looks to be in good shape with the exception of lots of superficial paint loss on gold body paint(but don't let looks scare you! The paint on these gold clippers commonly comes off with oil from hands) and metal plus some purely cosmetic areas of discoloration on metal. But nothing that would affect performance in any way. He said" these clippers are in GOOD condition! He put on a new cord. Cleaned commutator. Greased and oiled the head and sharpened the Sunbeam Stewart 83U and 84U Blades. He also said you may have to adjust the tensioner to your liking when you start clipping and has provided a sheet I will enclose which explains how. If you were real concerned, you could always put a piece of electric tape there, but is really not necessary. If it was cut thru deeper, the cord would have been replaced, but because the rest of the cord is in otherwise good supple shape, it did not seem needed. These vintage clippers were tested and appear to be in good working order. The variable speed control also seems to be functioning okay but the machine will probably need to be cleaned and oiled. There is light rust on the blades. There is some hair from the last horse that was cut, it's missing 4 points off the attachment piece, and there is electrical tape on the cord that also has a musty smell from storage.

This is a used vintage livestock clippers from Clipmaster. Model 51-1. For it's age and sitting in a shed it is in pretty good condition. It actually runs even and has the original power cord with no nicks or damage. Many of the other of these I have seen have the plug replaced) Now, I don't know if anyone would actually intend to use these anymore, but if you do, I would clean it up a little on the inside and give'er some oil. It gives off a little bit of an ozone smell when you run it but might just need to be cleaned and broke in. It has electrical tape around it holding one of the brushes in. But I think that just adds character. Hey, that's how it was back then, people made do with what they had! As does the rust and dirt on the plug. Which will come off with some effort I'm sure. I cannot get it to make any contact now at all. There are no blades with it and one of the screws that holds the blades in is also missing. The little square nut appearing part that makes the blades go back and forth is also missing. There is a very small amount of outside cover gone from the cord. The two wires appear to be intact. This is the variable speed edition.

Vtg SUNBEAM STEWART CLIPMASTER MODEL 51-2 LIVESTOCK CLIPPERS SHEARS Description Vintage. Possibly 1975 but not sure(I'm just going by some of the numbers on the paperwork)SUNBEAM STEWART CLIPMASTER MODEL 51-2. Made by SUNBEAM CORPORATION in Chicago, Ill. The clippers are in very good condition and were used very little. Note how well they were taken care of by the condition of the original box, and the cardboard guard was always placed over the working portion when stored away. Clippers cone in the original box with all the paperwork and two additional heads as pictured. The clippers have a 20 foot electrical cord which is also in good condition. The clippers themselves run fine. Absolutely no chips, cracks, or minor marks to be found on the unit. Box is 14" x 5" x 3-1/2" high. You are bidding on a Vintage Sunbeam Electric Hedge Clippers that my Dad owned and used! WOW Did he live dangerously! Looks like the cord got clipped too in about 4 or 5 places. Which he repaired with electrical tape! I can still remember the sound those clippers made as he trimmed our shrubs and hedges! These vintage clippers show some wear and ALOT of character.
