I use a Sportsman incubator to hatch and sell chicks locally and my hatch rate is always 90% 95% successful. This auction is for 12+ Marans show quality eggs. I will include an extra 2-4 eggs depending on availability. BREEDERS: The breeders behind my show quality Wheaten Marans are Bev Davis. Ron Presley, Dave Williams, Bob Terwilliger, Ralph Webb, Wade Jeane, and Justin Long. EGG COLOR: Marans eggs are generally quite dark and tend to lighten up as the laying cycle continues. After they molt and production starts up again then the cycle starts over. My hens are in various laying cycles therefore egg color may vary from what you see in the picture. MY RESPONSIBILITIES: My flock of Marans are not confined to cages and have access to the outside daily. I collect eggs 2 or 3 times a day and turn them several times per day. Some eggs may be slightly soiled. I don't wash eggs and I will not ship any heavily soiled eggs. My birds are healthy and have tested negative for avian influenza and salmonella pullorum(typhoid) thru Penn State for exhibition purposes. I have 6++ extras of French Black Copper Marans eggs for sale. Gorgeous birds. Feathered shanks and excellent hatch rates. The pictures listed are of eggs laid here on the farm and some of the parents. I will ship 11/20 if paid for before 1 pm central time, otherwise eggs will not ship until monday. Your eggs will be under 3 days old when shipped and kept in turner while awaiting shipment.
