These are selected birds to breed as you can see in the pictures they are not in the shade to hide anything, so you will be getting eggs from only the best birds. Yes you will get some culls and that's common in all breeds of birds. You can see some chicks I just hatched out the black ones I got 3 hatched chicks out of 5 eggs but 4 developed and one didn't make it out and we all know that is common when hatching eggs. The Hen has a nice tall comb that is very good and she is laying some nice large eggs. I would use distilled water so there is no bacteria grows in the tap water, google it. and let the eggs sit for 18 to 24 hours before incubating them. You can see they have solid black feet and toes and skin, etc the pictures do not lie, please look. You are buying eggs from a 4-h member and you can see the NIP Paper that they were just tested. There is no promise or guarantee on hatch rate cause of post office or very poor handling conditions as I know from buying eggs. I will pack them beyond imagine so they will not get hurt the best I can do for you. My feedback as a egg seller is very good and people have had good hatch rates and some not. I hatch out 100+ chicks each year and only keep the very best birds for breeding. I am currently using 2 blue laced roosters and one splash laced rooster. Most of the pullets/hens are blue laced.
