They are all 11 months ... moreold and were purchased as hatching eggs and are from GREENFIRE/ BEV DAVIS lines.The hens are laying 4-5 eggs a day at the moment so freshness is not an issue. We check for eggs 6 to 8 times a day and store them in a tempature controlled room until ready to package for shipment. They are kept on egg turners. These eggs are packaged very well that we believe not even the meanest of mailmen can damaged but do realize that the post office can play a part in hatch rates. We have great feedback on OUR packaging methods. The time and materials we use show it. We do hatch some of our own eggs at random and sell the chicks locally to make sure our hatch rates stay high. The birds in the photos are the ones providing eggs for you. They all have wonderful. Very laid back and well mannered personalities. These pictures were taken the week of 11-25-12 and 02-06-13.
