Here is a Red Snap'r model 44. 10 mile, works on a 6 or 12 volt battery. As I said above I hooked it to a 12 volt battery, but it did nothing. No switch on it that I can see. Not sure if it should make a clicking noise or not. I am wondering if the front wire parts also need to be hooked up before it works. Up for bid is a International Electric Fence Company Model 106 electric fence control box. It shows some wear to the outside with rust and some dents but its actually in good condition. The black splatter paint finish is original and done over a layer of silver paint. If you remove the trim rings around the light bulb lenses. You will see the original finish as bright and clean as it was new. The red and green lenses are in great shape and even have the original cork gaskets to keep moisture away from the light bulb sockets. The porcelain insulator posts are not cracked or chipped and all 3 have the original wing nuts on them. The power cord looks original to the box but i can't be 100% sure. It won't do anything when plugged into the wall and turned on but i think with some work. It could be repaired and be a functioning unit with ... morethe lights working. This auction is for a Preowned Zareba Solid State Electric Fence controller Rated up to 2 acres. This is a direct discharge electric fence controller. I contacted Zareba to get more information on this but this controller is obsolete and they did not have any information on it. I was trying to see if this could be used on small animals but they told me I needed an electric fence tester to get the voltage and send them the information. I do not have an electric fence tester. I did use a analog voltmeter and measure the output voltage. Remarkably high maxed out the meter both ac and dc 250 V plus)Positive on the output and negative in the dirt) I wouldn't use this on small animals. I asked them how far to space the insulators and they said: In regards to the spacing of the posts. We recommend spacing them approximately 10-15 feet apart.
