I purchased this fence controller new two summers ago. Paid $300 for it. It was used a couple of months that summer with no problems and was then turned off and sat until this year. I realized a few weeks ago it is now not working. Selling as-is. I have no idea what might be wrong with it. Don't want to mess with it. It may be something simple for all I know. It will come with the users manual. Nothing is cracked or broken on the outside of it, solar panel appears to be in good shape. This box is heavy, approx. 20 lbs, hence the shipping cost. Over the years its been repaired twice for whatever happens to these things when lightening gets a little too close. Well it happened again& our repair guy moved on so we decided to get a new one. The charger is rated for up to a 100 miles of fence. It comes with the original Installation& operating instructions. As far as I know ZAREBA either took over FarmWorks or the name just changed over the years. On the back cover of the instruction booklet(see photo) is the web site for FarmWorks. If you go to this site, the ZAREBA site comes up(the 800# is no good) Over the years the fencer has always been operating from the house since we we didn't have electric ... morein the barn so I guess I'm saying its fairly dust& barn dirt free. When I took it apart a few months ago to look at the inside I misplaced 2 of the 8 screws on the back panel which doesn't hurt any thing but I thought I'd mention that.
