Up for bid is a International Electric Fence Company Model 106 electric fence control box. It shows some wear to the outside with rust and some dents but its actually in good condition. The black splatter paint finish is original and done over a layer of silver paint. If you remove the trim rings around the light bulb lenses. You will see the original finish as bright and clean as it was new. The red and green lenses are in great shape and even have the original cork gaskets to keep moisture away from the light bulb sockets. The porcelain insulator posts are not cracked or chipped and all 3 have the original wing nuts on them. The power cord looks original to the box but i can't be 100% sure. It won't do anything when plugged into the wall and turned on but i think with some work. It could be repaired and be a functioning unit with ... morethe lights working. I plugged this in and the mercury switch in the front does oscillate back and forth. Could not get it to spark at the terminals and the test bulb does not blink or light up. I think this could easily be repaired as it is probably just a bad capacitor in the unit. Glass is not cracked and cord is in good shape. I would guess this dates back to the 50s or 60s. The other original box contains a Studded"T" Post Connector Kit for faster fencing. 20 Complete Insulator assemblies as seen in pics. The outer box and sticker/paper on top of box shows age and wear. This is sort of like a kit. All there except the posts. You are bidding on the 2 mile range transformer. 2 packs(6 signs) 1 open bag of 25 nail on insulators(black) 2 bags of 25 nail on insulators(yellow) 3 bags of 10 clip on insulators for chain link fence or 2" X 4" mesh fencing(yellow) I only used this for about 3 weeks and the city told me to take it down and put up some other protection for the trees. All will be packaged in a large flat rate priority mail box. Got all this at Tractor Supply. Insulators will be out of the bags for shipping purposes.
