Vintage galvanized P&A of Waterbury Connecticut double burner kerosene lantern or chicken brooder in good condition. There is some rust. Dents and wear. The handle is still there which is usually missing. I could not get the burner to turn to remove it. It may take some heat and elbow grease to get it to move. The cork stopper is worn, and I could not get it loose. The lamp is a little over 6 inches in diameter. The wick knobs do move but the wicks need replacing. There is some gunk stuck to the bottom which is not rust. It would be a nice decorative piece. Shipping is $11 in the continental United States.

This is an old primitive farm-made reservoir chicken coop heater. A pretty good job of craftsmanship on the 7x10 box that is 2" high. The handle sticks up another 1" on top of that. The farmer was probably tired of refilling a small'City-made' lamp and used the type of ingenuity only farmers had back then. It was soldered together and probably was in service for 50 years or so. It is the manufacturing plate of the stove.an important innovation in the chicken& poultry egg industry. The plate is in good condition. It is brass with embossed lettering with a black background. If you have the stove you need the plate. Or. It's just a very cool Petaluma"eggcentric" piece! The egg industry was booming during the 1924 era when Frank S Conner patented the stove and set up shop in Petaluma. His product became famous throughout the poultry industry. Unusual Moorman’s Ceramic Pig Heater Bulb Lamp Brooder Nursery Vintage Quincy IL
Offered is a very unusual heat lamp bulb distributed by Moorman’s Manufacturing out of Quincy. Illinois. Moorman’s is best known for it animal feed products. This bulb has no glass– it is made of a fairly sturdy ceramic with a white shiny glaze. When installed, it gives off heat but no light and is resistant to breakage. These bulbs heat up quickly and are very hot. This bulb is meant to be installed in a standard heat lamp with a porcelain socket. It is rated for 150 watts at 115/120 volts. The bulb is 5 inches tall(including the base) And flares to a maximum of 3 ½ inches in diameter. The bulb is new. Old stock and has never been used although I did test it– it works fine.
