Crouse Hinds traffic signal stop light controller cabinet
This is a Crouse Hinds traffic control cabinet with one timer. My knowledge of these controllers is limited so this is what I can tell you: The timer should have tabs that would trigger the signal to change. Before I acquired it. Someone glued metal strips to the wheel essentially doing what the tabs would do, but the action is not as accurate. The timer does work, although it could use some TLC. I used to have a signal mounted to the diamond plate that someone added to the top and it did go through the sequence. The diamond plate is removable. There is a small. Hairline crack in the lower corner of the door You will get the cabinet and a key. As with all traffic signals. This runs on standard 120-volt current– the same stuff coming from the outlets in your house. This cabinet is extremely heavy. Crouse-Hinds Traffic Signal Light Controller Cabinet Electrical Hub and Bracket
For your consideration. I have this electrical conduit hub and mounting bracket for the older cast aluminum Crouse-Hinds traffic signal light control cabinets. The hub is a Crouse-Hinds Cat. No. YYP85 hub accepting 1-1/2 inch threaded conduit pipe and conduit fittings. YYP85 is cast on the hub. The catalog photo is of a page in the 1936 Crouse-Hinds Traffic Signals and Controls catalog showing the hub and catalog numbers. This hub was used on the Crouse-Hinds cast controller cabinets from the mid 1930's through the 1950's that I know of. The cabinets had a specific cast locations on the top and bottom to accept mounting of this style hub. The hub is made of cast iron. I have cleaned the old paint from the hub using a glass bead blast cabinet. The mounting bracket is mounted between the hub and the cabinet, and used to secure the cabinet ... moreto the traffic signal pole. I am happy to answer any questions.

Here is a very nice vintage Multisonics traffic signal safety monitor. Model SM-1508. I picked it up several years ago at a local municipal surplus auction with several other controllers. I don't know much about these controllers or how to test them, but from what I understand, they were pulled from use so the city could put in a more modern traffic control system. Here is a very nice vintage Singer Series 1000 Controller. The dimensions are as follows: 11-1/88" deep(to end of knobs) 17-1/4" wide, and 10" high. I picked it up several years ago at a local municipal surplus auction with several other controllers. I don't know much about these controllers or how to test them, but from what I understand, they were pulled from use so the city could put in a more modern traffic control system. Included with this unit are the following control panels: service and control, program panel, phase timing, actuation, volume density, and pedestrian.
