For bid is a used pair of vintage Nike ACG Cairns cycling shoes is size 44 or US 10. These shoes have been worn which is testament to how great they are. Shoes are worn. Have marks and dings but are still serviceable and would be a great second pair of shoes for outdoor riding or spin class. Compatible with SPD cleats, these shoes have a string-tie covered by a flange which is velcro/buckle enclosure. Basically this shoe has all three means of securing a shoe to you foot. See photos. Note that one of the mud cleats(underneath the toes) is missing but can be replaced with any standard Nike-compatible piece. Buckles works great. Shoes are completely functional and sold as-is. For your consideration is a used but in very nice shape Cairns 1010 helmet. Has new reflective/glow in the dark tetrahedrons for added visibilty at night or in smokey conditions. Has"D" ring for hanging. Adjustable quick release chin strap, ratchet adjustable head band, nomex ear neck flaps, flip down 4 inch visor, and brass eagle to hold leather i.d. patch. The brass eagle is a little dinged up, but the i.d. patch will still slip inside ok. Ear flaps have been cleaned but still have some soot/smoke stains and the visor has the usual amount of scratches you would expect. On a grade scale of A to F, would rate this helmet about a B or maybe B+. Would make a nice back up helmet for the"volly" or perhaps the young explorer/probie just starting out. This would be a great addition to your fire collection! This is an OLD Carins New Yorker- Leather helmet. This helmet originally belonged to a member of FDNY. It appears that after retirement. This helmet was used as a retirement piece. Structurally, this helmet is in very good condition for its age. The leather does have some alligator style cracking from its age, but is in very sound condition. The exterior of the helmet is painted white, the interior has the NYFD with the original owners name. There is no finial, but the chief front shield with this helmet is attatched and in very good condition. Dont miss out on a awesome piece of history. Serious bidders only please.

Up for auction is a Cairns Leather N5A New Yorker Fire Helmet. The date manufactered was August 15th. 1986 and it is a size medium. This helmet is 100% ALL ORIGINAL. This helmet is much lighter and rides much lower on your heads than the new Cairns helmets made today. There are a few places where the paint has chipped and the shield holder is slightly bent. There are some initials on the earflaps that can barely be seen. I never wore this helmet on the job. I bought this helmet from a collector in New York years ago to display leather shields from my collection. I challenge anyone to find another helmet that is the same age as this one that is in such fantastic condition. LEATHER SHIELD IS FOR DEMONSTRATION ONLY AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. I'm not sure what the nozzle between the middle of the 4 and 7 represents. There is a velcro patch that held the name of a Fireman or something else. I bought this from a estate sale. They had fireman in their family. I was told they were from Texas I have tried to do some research. And I can't find out anymore history behind the helmet. The helmet is a little rough. Great unmolested helmet with a lot of character. Exact age of this helmet is unknown but it is pretty old. Has great old badge as shown marked Asst. Chief as well as Mc HFD. As noted this great old helmet has a lot of character including scuffs. Scratches, marring and discoloration form use and storage. Badge has cracking and peeling as shown. Brass badge holder is in overall good shape with some distortion from use and storage as shown. Helmet has no cracks or breaks. I am unsure of what type of material this helmet is made of, but does not appear to be leather or metal. Might be some sort of composite, fiberglass or plastic. Liner is overall good with ... morewear. Chinstrap is broke as shown and is an easy fix or fine just left as-is. Visor folds down nicely and has wear marks from use. Marked Cairns on interior label. For sale here is a great looking Cairns& Brothers Model 660C Firefighter's Helmet. The helmet is black and features a fold down visor and a neck protector. Everything is present and the helmet is in excellent condition. The visor is clouded up and could be replaced for use. Or has a nice been there look for display. The only owner marking on the helmet is the vinyl number 3 under the back of the brim. The helmet is marked with the numbers 14 in vinyl along with the number 63. The name John is on the back. There are also some reflective tapes placed around the helmet with two Eat Bend Yadkin County Interior Certified stickers on the outside. The manufacturer's label is present inside and is dated 1983. Bourke eye shield, D ring rear for hanging, impact inner shell and leather in good condition with minimal wear and tear, does need paint touch-up on ribs. Up for auction is an FDNY PROBIE fire helmet with leather shield included. This is an N5A New Yorker manufactered August 11th. 1987 and it is a size medium. This helmet is 100% ALL ORIGINAL. This helmet alone in this condition is a rare find, but I am including the original probie shield that came with the helmet. Cairns normaly put the customer number on the tag inside the helmet, which for FDNY would have been 01. For some reason on this particular order, they just put PROBIE(see photos) This helmet is much lighter and rides much lower on your heads than the new Cairns helmets made today.
