Up for auction is an authentic police item. This Sirchie fingerprint kit has a lot of gear inside. Look at the photos and you will see that the ultraviolet light works. It has a cord and powers right up although it does hum a little. I assume that not to be a problem. It has batteries but they have long since lost any charge that they may have had. I will either remove and repack them for you or simply dispose of them if that is your preference. There is no sign of leakage in the battery case. I found this piece amongst an assortment of odds and ends I had picked up the other day at a thrift store that was closing down. From what I could gather via a Google search. This device was designed for magnifying fingerprints. As you can see, this device has seen better days but the magnifying part aside from the crack, still functions. The adjustment knob in the back seems to turn and tighten w/o any issues but has cracked in half. The pictures will give you a better idea of the damage and other wear and tear I speak of. And it also has an ink pad for taking prints from an individual. It has black and white powder, print tape, two very fine brushes for each color power, am ink pad, paper for prints, scissors and a bag of latex gloves. And of course the case that carries it all. The case is nice except the handle is broke. It really dosent look like it was used much. The powders are full. It's a pretty cool item that I don't come across much!
