Wildland firefighter pants used, great condition! XL. Fire season is coming!
Item for sale is a used. In great shape, pair of wildland firefighter nomex pants. They have no tears, rips, holes and all zippers/velcro straps are perfect and work great! The only problem is some dirt staining on the knee area as you can see from the pic. These pants are made from 60%kevlar and 40%nomex and with the rip-stop material so they are very durable. They are a size XL waist and length 28. The waist has a strong elastic band which would fit anyone from size 36-42 well, along with zipper and button clasp. They have two zippered slots on each side for access to your pant pockets, two bellows pockets on the side knee areas for gear and zippers with velcro straps for the foot openings. Just in time for the coming wildfire season! This is a wildland/brush fire suppression Forester fire fighting unit made by Western Fire Equipment. It was removed from a brush truck. And has a 200 gallon fiberglass tank, with dimensions of 44” wide x 47” long x 27” high. The unit overall height is 53”The pump is rated at 17 GPM@ 250 PSI. It has 1” and 1-1/2” discharges, electric engine start and electric reel rewind, using the vehicle’s battery. It has approximately 100 feet of 1” diameter hose and nozzle. The original pump pressure gauge was defective, and I replaced it with a new gauge, shown sitting in place in the pictures. The new gauge is not connected, and will be shipped in its box. The fiberglass tank has an unpainted vertical strip to allow the water level to show. I have not run this unit for several years, but it was working at ... morethat time; that's when I discovered the defective gauge. There is an adjustable pressure relief bypass. The unit is not set up to draft(draw) water from an outside source. The unit is designed to slide into a standard 4' wide truck bed. I have tried to describe this unit accurately, but what you see is what you get; absolutely no warranty. The unit is presently on a pallet, and I can lift it onto a truck or trailer for shipment, but all shipping arrangements must be made by the buyer. The unit is available for pickup at Rifle, Colorado, but payment must be made and time allowed for all checks to clear before the unit is released. Pre-owned, aramid fiber, or also called nomex, wildland firefighting cargo style fire pants. Same as those worn by contract crews and government agencies such as the US Forest Service. These may have been worn and laundered but a couple of times as I find nothing wrong with them. The waist is adjustable from 28 to 32 inches and the inseam is 34 inches. Labeled as 28- 32 x 34. Leg cuff ties still in place and the velcro closures are pretty clean. Relatively clean all over but may have an occasional pet hair or piece of lint. As there used to lots of contract crews in the area. I bought these several years ago at a yard sale and only recently"found" them in the garage.
