From shoulder's seam down to end of cuff 24" Back. Along the spine from collar seam to tail end 22.5" Waist line(all around) 36" Fab cond for a 70+ years; I'd say broken in(just ... morelook at the underarms area. How nice and fresh it looks) No rips or tears on leather; no funny odors Original Talon(Sunburst) zippers, functional with small issue(keep on reading! BTW. Lost Worlds sells the RE-MAKE for $1200.00(well.add another $135.00 if you want it with original 50's Talon or Conmar zippers) check out the cheap work on each one of the front panels(2pcs cut) and the sleeves- LOL! Please NOTE: Liner. Collar area has been either reinforced or repaired(see rectangular added patch about 10" x 2" Liner. Left side close to male part of the zipper need repair. The male part of the front zipper; still works well but since it is located in a high stress area when zippered up it is going to need repair. Vintage Hoyt Leather Police Holster 45 Comander CMDR Others Dirty Hairy Style
Here is the story. I came across a huge lot of holsters and leather for making them, some complete some in need of completion, some just need a little. I will be posting all this stuff in the next couple weeks. I have enough leather to fill probably 6 square yards. and boxes of holster parts. Now I have actually had some these repairs done. This is made in the Hoyt.Costa Mesa,CA facility. in the USA Now this is for what you see in the picture. I am not a big gun person so I will describe this the best I can. this is for a45 CMDR. That is all it says on the holster. Best I could find on this style is it is for a 45 Comander. This is a shoulder style, the same kind Clint Eastwood used in the Dirty Hairy movie. the gun in the holster As I recall is a 45 Taurus. Just a borrowed gun of my dads. Very Rare Makers Western America Made Police Swivel Holster Rig Basket Weave
This is a very elaborate swivel holster rig and belt all done in a very tight basket- weave design. besides the holster. There is a matching handcuff clip and a matching cartridge holder with 12 loops. The lady I bought this from said her late husband who owned it was a Korean War Military Police Veteran and also a retired Policeman. She told me he carried a Colt Python revolver. The open end of the holster measures 4" across and is 8" deep from the top. Both of the rare makers marks are from the American West and their products are hard to find and highly collectible. The 40" belt was made by Thompson Leather in Northridge. California and the fast- draw style swivel holster was made by Conrad's Leather of Las Vegas, Nevada. The belt looks as if it has three inches of adjustment on each side of the 40" center measurement. ... moreOne of the Thompson's Leather trademarks is double stamped. Well. I can’t find one like this anywhere and have no clue what it’s for. I’m guessing that it holds a police or guard related item onto a duty belt. It has a number on the back side of B366S, along with the logo of a carriage or a stage coach and the logo that reads: Thompson Inc. Northridge, Ca. It shows some wear from use but no damage from use or abuse. The snap on the back side works fine and when snapped. It will fit onto a 2 ¼ inch wide belt. It's actually a Gould& Goodrich Phoenix. It carries your Glock mid-range. Neither high-rise or low. It bumps it out from the belt just a bit to make it easier to draw and offers an area for your jacket to drop into so you can reach your sidearm. I tried lots of holsters till I found this one. And really liked it. All the rest of the gear. The belt and accesories are all Bianchi. The belt has the velcro on the back. Although you can use the supplied keepers as well. The whole thing will mate-up with the velcro to a Bianchi trousers belt and others. I am told this is called a John Brown I don't know. But it is old and cool. Holster is The Blazer no. 42. Ammo pouch's were made by Earl Ginn co. The belt has full bridle grain leather. Service and the number 19 stamped on it and under that is the number 38. Has a brass buckle and hard wear on the big belt. All snaps work. Vintage Hoyt Leather Police Holster 357 worn cool
Here is the story. I just came across a huge lot of holsters and leather for making them, some complete some in need of completion, some just need a little. I will be posting all this stuff in the next couple weeks. I have enough leather to fill probably 6 square yards. and boxes of holster parts. Now this is for what you see in the picture. I am not a big gun person so I will describe this the best I can. this is for 1 holsters. This holster is complete but worn heavily the leather is coming apart as seen in the photo in several places, this could still be worn and hold aa gun I show it with my K frame 38. I just think this is a unique hoslter as it is aged and looks cool so it could be a wall hanger/ display piece with some real history behind it. You get exactly what is seen in the pictures. Authentic 1916 German P08 Luger Police Holster w/ Markings
Offered here is this authentic 1916 German P08 Luger Police Holster in nice overall condition. The date'1916' is impressed inside the top flap just below the makers mark. Unfortunately. We cannot read the makers name and are unable to identify the maker. Several other code numbers appear on the rear of the holster as shown in the photos. The condition of the dark brown leather is quite good for its age showing no dry rot or cracks. And no open stitched seams. There are no owner markings anywhere on this item. Sold as is.
