Scuffs, marks and scratches ... morefrom field usage. The top part of the"squelch/unsquelch" switch broke off, but using a pointy object(paperclip, key, etc) you can move the switch back and forth. I had to repair the power cord as the original one was non-functional. This unit has moving& stationary modes- the mode is selected via a switch at the top of the unit. Stationary mode appears to be working great. It reports accurate speeds off of all of my K-Band tuning forks. For moving mode, if the unit is locked on a fork it will report speed and when a second fork is introduced, the proper speed appears in the target window, but when not locked on a fork(and sitting stationary) it may display random digits. I've seen this many times before with older units I've acquired. The volume knob works. But you have to turn the unit near max to start hearing the doppler tones, once again a common issue with these older units that use potentiators for the volume. All LED segments light up perfectly. The Day/Night switch brightens/dims the display and the hold button will hold transmission. Squelch/unsquelch properly mutes the doppler tones as well. This unit clocks in MPH. So it's probably most useful to people where the speed is normally reported in miles-per-hour. Unit would be great for recreational/sport use but I would probably not recommend it for official use. But you have to turn the unit near max to start hearing the doppler tones, once again a common issue with these older units that use potentiators for the volume. All LED segments light up perfectly. The Day/Night switch brightens/dims the display and the hold button will hold transmission. Squelch/unsquelch properly mutes the doppler tones as well. This unit clocks in MPH. So it's probably most useful to people where the speed is normally reported in miles-per-hour. Unit would be great for recreational/sport use but I would probably not recommend it for official use. This is a used Kustom Signals model Pro-1000 Police Radar Gun setup. This is a K-Band setup with a single antenna configuration. All components are in fair-to-good physical condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear from field usage. These were field-used units, so there may be velcro residue on the components from mounting. This unit supports moving mode(opposite. Not same lane) and stationary mode. The antenna cable had a small cut in the insulation, I wrapped it up with electrical tape, none of the conductors in the cable are impacted. I connected the radar to a 12-volt power source and it powers on perfectly and passes all self tests. I aimed the antenna at moving objects and had no problem getting speed readings. I also tested both antenna ports against several K-Band tuning forks and it reported the speed accurately(no forks included) ... moreThis unit is configured for MPH(miles-per-hour) usage. All LED segments are tested and working. Speaker is tested and working as well. I operated the unit using the included remote control and everything seems to be responding fine. I do not know when the units were last calibrated and I do not have any calibration documentation. Everything is mounted(and can be removed) to a nice metal bracket keeping all components in tact.
