Up for sale today is a cool antique Brass Fireman's Fire Hose Nozzle made by Elkhart Brass Mfg. Co. This nozzle is solid brass and measures approx. 12" long! At the base it measures approx. 2 7/16" outside) and tapers down to 1" at the front. It was polished when I got it. It shows typical use wear. Elkhart-C Antique Fire Nozzle 10 Inches
This is a solid brass fire nozzle. It is in very good condition with a few scratches from years of use. Elkhart-C" is embossed the nozzle's base. It is 10 inches long with a 1.5 inch internal diameter. This product is truly a piece of history. This very nozzle. As well as others were recently stolen from the historic"Eddy" building in downtown Saginaw, Michigan, which was built in 1918. The thief was caught and arrested and the nozzles were returned to the rightful owner. I am hoping that someone will incorporate this item into a piece of art or use it as decoration so that its rich history can live on. There are so many creative uses for it. Use it to decorate a table, bookshelf, wall, or as a decorative paperweight. You could even somehow assemble a few of them to create artwork of your own!

Vtg Brass Fire Hose Nozzle Elkhart Brass Mfg Co Firefighter Collectible USA 12"
This is a nice vintage Brass Fire Hose Nozzle made by the Elkhart Brass Mfg Co. USA. It measures 12" long with the nozzle measuring 1" across and the hose connection end measures 2 1/2" across. It is in g ood vintage used condition and has fought fires so it shows its experience. There are scratches around the end of the nozzle and the photo appears that the nozzle end looks as though the brass is worn, but it is solid brass and has a non-polished patina. There are scuffs on the body of the nozzle, and the wide connecting end has some flattening on the edge, so it is not perfectly round. Please look at the photos since I have tried to clearly point out these conditions. The nozzle still has its black rubber lining in the bottom. It weighs over 2 pounds(unwrapped for shipping)

It looks like it was painted red some years ago, and most of the red paint is flaked off. This is left as fond, uncleaned unpolished, even left with the tattered string wrapped around it. This is a fire nozzle off a 1940s era fire truck from a small north western town in Wash. State. I do not know if it works or what year it is but should be a nice addition to someones fire fighting collection. It is approx 7 1/4" tall and 3 3/4" wide. Fitting is 1 1/4" I think. It is hand stamped 8868 and H& L 3 which we believe stands for Hook and Ladder 3. Vintage "Elkhart Brass Co." Fire Hose Brass Nozzle ~ Excellent Condition
This Brass Nozzle was made by the Elkhart Brass Co. and has a patent number of"2.089,304" On the front of the nozzle it reads OPEN and has a star above it and then number 205 on the side. On the backside it reads CLOSE and above that it has 742-48 with SM under the numbers. There is no damage that I can find other than some discoloration due to age and minor surface scratches. It still has the rubber washer inside. This would be an excellent addition for your collection! It measures 4 1/2" tall and just shy of 2 1/2" across.
