Two elkhart brass nozzle, plus Akron nozzle
Two Elkhart twist type nozzles. Both have 1 1/2" inlet. The larger nozzle stands 5 1/2" tall with a flare at the tip the measures 5 inches across. The rubber bumper has cracked(see photo) But is still securely attached. The second Elkhart nozzle is slightly smaller, measuring 4 1/2" tall with a 4" flare at the tip. Here is a vintage/antique CG Conn trombone. From the research I have done. This was made in 1926/27. The serial number is 232618 and the model is 4H, which is the VICTOR model. This also has a* by the serial number which may indicate this has a Gold Brass Bell(higher copper content) This does not have a case or mouthpiece and there are some dents. The bell looks like it is cracked in the pics, but I assure you it is NOT! That is just a line in the brass. I am selling this for parts or repair because it does have some dents. For NO RESERVE auction is a a vey nice Vintage CONN Silver Cavalier Trumpet Brass made in Elkhart Indiana USA. It is a vintage trumpet and has obvious age. But it is actually in nice structural condition. The parts are complete and there is only one ding I can find on the crook, as I have shown in the pic. I never played it and while the valves are all there, they have never been touched by me, so expect to recondition or at least give a very good cleaning and/or restoration. The trumpet looks like it is more like a ML BORE to even L for the period, making it maybe a MEDIUM. These were most common in small bore with huge back pressure, but this one appears to be a bit more forgiving and open. I will pack with care and ship USPS Parcel post or Fedex with speed and care.

1967 Early Elkhart Bach Stradivarius 43 Raw Brass
I have for sale a very early Elkhart Bach 43 Strad(serial no. 38770) in raw brass. I bought it in pretty good condition with the lacquer mostly intact. But scratchy and peeling in places, making it look pretty ugly. I stripped the lacquer myself and polished it up and I think it looks much better. There was also a dent where the leadpipe brace connects to the bow, which I had removed as well. The nickel plating is a little spotty, but overall, I'd say that it's in decent cosmetic condition. There's a few tiny dings, as one would expect from an almost-50 year old horn, but they're more of a feel thing than visual. But how does it play? Beautifully. Like one would expect a vintage Bach would. Why am I selling? Because I need the money and I don't have as much of a need for a backup B-flat as I thought I did. Also, the 43 ... moremodel is primarily a jazz/lead trumpet, and I'm mostly a classical player(although a good classical DMA friend of mine plays one with a Schilke Symphony mouthpiece and sounds like a million bucks) The valves are in great condition, lots of compression with a nice pop when the slides are removed. They also have brass valve guides, a rarity these days. Although I have the original case. I'm not planning on including it unless the buyer would like me to(just pay extra shipping) It's a little beat up and probably doesn't add that much value to an otherwise excellent trumpet. These early Elkhart-period Bachs. While not as rare or valuable as the NY or Mt. Vernon instruments, are still highly sought after by players and collectors, and regarded as being equal to and above in quality of the modern instruments. This Brass Nozzle was made by the Elkhart Brass Co. and has a patent number of"2.089,304" On the front of the nozzle it reads OPEN and has a star above it and then number 205 on the side. On the backside it reads CLOSE and above that it has 742-48 with SM under the numbers. There is no damage that I can find other than some discoloration due to age and minor surface scratches. It still has the rubber washer inside. This would be an excellent addition for your collection! It measures 4 1/2" tall and just shy of 2 1/2" across. So we think it may be possible for someone to pound out that dent. Case exterior is quite beat up. The case does not close securely- its hardware is broken. Inside. Conn Trombone 78h Elkhart Rose Brass Bell
This trombone has a serial number that dates its manufacture to 1950-1951. Serial numbers on the hand slide and grip match(no serial number on bell section) It is somewhat distinctive because it has an 8" rose brass bell. Most 78h's that you will find have a yellow brass bell. The difference between the two materials is in the sound- rose brass plays a little mellower or darker. I just had a $100 slide alignment done. So the slide is in nice shape. Overall, the horn has some minor dings here and there, mostly mute dings, and the finish is a little spotty as you might expect from a 60+ year old horn. There are no major dents. The tuning slide works properly. The instrument doesn't need any work, unless you wanted to refinish it. One of the photos shows some wear on one of the stockings. Which doesn't affect its performance ... moreat all. I recommend using Trombotine on the slide. I'm selling it because I have another very similar instrument(79h with an F attachment) and I just can't afford to have two horns sitting around. This is such a nice horn, it deserves to be played. If you're not familiar with this model. The 78h is a 0.522" medium bore professional horn. It's a step down in size from the classic 88h, and a step up from the classic 6h. This size trombone can be used for orchestral playing or jazz. It's known as one of the most versatile trombones ever made. If you have a college bound trombone player in your life, this would be a beautiful gift. It's a horn any one who really plays can easily fall in love with. I'm supplying this horn with a Bach case. Sturdy and the horn fits well. I'm not supplying a mouthpiece, although this horn was really meant to be played with a 6 1/2 AL(Schilke 48) You can get brighter sound from it for jazz with maybe a 7c, or darker orchestral sound with a 5G. This horn takes a small shank mouthpiece, which are readily available in any instrument shop or eBay. Many people call the 78h a scaled down 88/8h. And with the rose brass bell

I have up for sale a very nice vintage ELKHART BRASS MFG CO L-205-B listed 392M brass fire hose nozzle.It is estate fresh and as found. The nozzle weighs 3 lbs 4 ounces. Stands approx 4-5/8" when closed and approx 5-1/4" when open. It opens and closes smoothly and easily. I see no issues, has some normal wear from use and age- no damages. The letters ONFD are scratched onto it, standing for Oneida Fire Department. Not sure of the exact age but its older. For your consideration this is a fabulous Original Elkart Chief brass fire hose nozzle It is a total of 19 7/8” tall. Handle to handle 11 1/2" One of the leather handles is broken ripped off on the bottom and half way broken on the top. It looks like somebody tried to glue it already on the top and the bottom, so its very fragile( it can be repaired as long as you have the handle) its barely hanging on.its possible that while its being shipped it will fall off and one side of the brass handle(Open& Close) is broken(please see the pictures) It has been polished and lacqured what keeps the brass bright. New looking and it prevents it from tarnishing so you dont have to polish it ever again. Some scratches and stains.fabulous example of a very hard to find nozzle. Don’t let it get away! This extinguisher is empty in excellant condition and has been polished to a mirror like finish and lacqured with BRASS laquer what keeps the brass bright, new looking and it prevents it from tarnishing so you dont have to polish it ever again.
