There are no major dents present and the minor dents don't affect playability. This bass trumpet has a 6" bell diameter. Minor scratches throughout, several small patches on/near the bell bow and minor lacquer wear, with approximately 90% of lacquer intact. The serial number is in the lower K31,2xx range, which dates manufacture to approximately 1967. Dings, and dents from use and age. There are no holes or cracks in the body that I see. The valves seem to spring back nicely but probably need lubricated as who knows how long it has been. Be sure to add villagewares to your favorites! This Chrome Plated Brass Fire Extinguisher was manufactured by the Elkhart Brass Manufacturing Company of Elkhart. Indiana, U.S.A. This 2 1/2 gallon fire extinguisher tested to 500 lbs. must be"turned bottom up" for use in fires. There is a handle on the recessed bottom to facilitate this action. Further instruction for charging and operating are embossed on the chrome plated plate on the front of the extinguisher. Underwriting information is given on a small plate near the foot. The embossing on the information plate is highlighted in blue, and the turning wheel on top is the same blue, making this a very attractive as well as working fire extinguisher. The only visible brass is on the connections to the red hose and on the foot where the chrome is scratched and worn to reveal brass ... moreunderneath. There is a large white"631" stenciled near the top of the extinguisher. A great gift for a fire-fighter or collector! The extinguisher body measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter. With a 4 inch diameter neck and a 6 inch diameter turning wheel. The hose is 17 1/2 inches long, 19 inches with the nozzle. The total length of the extinguisher from foot to turning wheel is 24 inches. There is some wear on the blue highlighting of the blue lettering on the front plate of the extinguisher. I don't play the trumpet nor am I an expert on instruments. But after hearing a friend play around with this piece for a few minutes, it seems to be in sweet working condition. Cloth covered wood case measures 18" wide. 6 1/2" deep, and 4" high. Leather handle is well affixed. Brass latches are tarnished consistent with age, still sturdy and work well, springing up when released. Back latches are secure. Interior is lined with emerald green crushed velvet. What I have here is a Vintage Elkhardt Indiana Windsor Trombone. This trombone is from my grandparents estate. My grandfather was in a swing band and I'm sure that he played this. I've never seen this trombone until I cleaned out their house so I don't know any history on this instrument. No one in the family can play this trombone but I fell that this is a very playable. The slide works just fine just needs some lube or grease( Few light dings but overall very nice. The original finish is still present, I'm not sure what the finish is could be Silver or Nickel plate. Does come with a mouth piece and it is just stamped TROMBONE it might be sterling silver due to the size to weight ratio. Mouth piece weighs in at 4.8oz or 138g. The Selmer Bundy trumpet you are viewing has only cosmetic issues. It is truly brass- all of the old lacquer has been professionally removed. The valves are quick and smooth and all of the slides are free. The compression is good. There are several dings lightly visible in the back bell area and 3 or 4 small ones on the end of the bell pipe. Overall. It is a good instrument for a student or band member who needs one for pep or marching band. As a trumpet player myself, I will stand behind this instrument. The case is old and musty, but still usable and totally cool! Looks like crocodile skin, and feels like it too. The inside is maroon velvet material. Vintage Nightwatch Fireman's Lamp-Unique Lamp-Dietz-Akron Brass-Elkhart Brass
Hello. You are viewing my auction for a Vintage Nightwatch Fireman's Lamp. This is a Unique Fire Department Lamp that depicts various firefighting tools including a Dietz#20 lantern, an Akron Brass Company cutting tool and an Elkhart Brass Company nozzle. The lantern is made from metal as well as the cutting tool. I am unsure of the exact type of material that the nozzle is made from. This lamp is in perfect working condition. The top section lights up as well as the Dietz Lantern. This lamp weighs 13.2 pounds and measures 15 and 1/2" wide by 10 and 1/2" deep by 25" tall up to the top of the light socket. It is marked"Nightwatch" on the back. This is a must have lamp for any serious firefighter collector. There is some wear present on this lamp with some scratches and wear on the wood. There are no breaks or repairs ... morepresent. I do have the original shade for this lamp which I have posted separately for sale at my Ebay store. ELKHART TROMBONE, BRASS VINTAGE, COMPLETE WITH EZ TONE MOUTHPIECE
Up for bid a vintage ELKHART Brass Trombone. I am not a player so I took detailed photos for your evaluation. I am not sure of the year of manufacture. But my uncle who graduated in 1955 played it in high school. I did include a photo that shows the stamped No. 35705" and 67-I, this may tell you the year and/or model. All the pieces fit in good alignment. The spit valve springs are good and the slide lock is operational. It is in very good shape with very few dents for a band instrument. The included mouthpiece is EZ Tone made between 1950-1954. It is in good used condition. The case is brown with a green velvet interior has some tattered edges as would be expected. It has a brass plate that reads ELKHART BAND INSTRUMENT COMPANY ELKHART. INDIANA, USA. It is ready to go to play or add to a collection. Thanks for looking!

Featured is an early brass 3 valve trumpet that is marked American Victor. Made in Elkhart, USA on the bell. It also bears a serial# of 8883 on one of the valves. It is 22" long with mouth piece and has a couple of little dings and one valve is stuck in the down position. It is a little tarnished but should clean up nicely. Good luck and thanks for looking.

Vintage MARTIN TROMBONE in case 1950 Circa Elkhart IN Brass Band Instrument
This is a vintage Martin trombone in original case. With a music book. The Martin Band Instrument Co, Elkhart, Ind. The trombone is in working condition, but it does show signs of wear and several small dents. I am guessing this is the 1950 circa. It was my dad's horn and he played it in high school in the early 50's, maybe even late 40's. Comes with mouthpiece and music holder. Hardcover case has velvet lining. Exterior has a lot of scuffs and shows wear. Trombone slide works fine- just needs some oil. Instrument plays well, but a good cleaning would be beneficial. Great refinishing project. Vintage Elkhart - Ind. (Indiana) Brass Trumpet (Baldwin, Conn, Accord?) 220285
I picked this trumpet up used. I couldn't find much information about it. It just says"MADE IN ELKHART-IND. on it. The number on the middle valve is 220285. It has sort of a leaf/flower design that goes up the large part of the tubing. It includes the mouthpiece seen in the photos. It has numerous dents. Dings, minor scratches, and scuffs(see photos) The tubing also has a slight bend to it(see photos) Also, there is a metal support that attaches one side of the tubing to the other which has broke(see photo 10) I think this might be a Conn, Baldwin, or Accord trumpet based on some of the other ones I have seen here on ebay. Vintage Brass Conn PAN AMERICAN Sousaphone Elkhart Tuba Horn 24" Bell Presented for your consideration is this Pan American Sousaphone with a 24" bell. This instrument has the serial number"151662" and is an E tone. The bell on this instrument features a beautiful floral engraving all that states"Elhart Ind USA PAN AMERICAN" This instrument is huge as it measures approximately 55" long x 29" wide x 24" deep and will most likely need shipped in multiple containers. It is in fair condition for such an old instrument. It does exhibit areas of wear such as loss to the finish as well as dents and dings. It is missing its mouthpiece so I have no way to test its functionality. Overall it is a very rare instrument that would make a wonderful addition to any musician's arsenal. I will include the harps for the lamp shades. However the lamp shade is NOT included. I am sure you will want to select your own lamp shade to compliment your home or office decor. This Elkhart fire extinguishers is a very rare collectible. They are approximately 90 years old. And are considered"older models" as they have large handles on the back The rivets on the copper tank are in excellent condition as well as the embossed brass plaque on the front that displays a beautiful 11 point elk bust in a heart-shape plaque. Manufactured by the Elkhart Brass Mfg. Co. in Elkhart Indiana, USA. Extinguisher has original black rubber ... morehose and is empty. It is a 2.5 gallon extinguisher that measures approximately 25" tall(31" including lamp switch fixture and 9" in base diameter. Cord on lamp is approximately 7 feet long. The instruction labels are very readable. Note: The copper does have"age spots" which could be professionally polished out if desired. I tend to think that it actually adds to the charm of the lamp.
