Kevin Green. An established arborist, and a friend were fed up with having to remove the pockets to change the teeth on their stump grinders. They decided to do something about it. The two turned some scrap steel into the shape of a Greenteeth tooth and attached a round carbide tip to the end of the shank. They then made the pockets from steel plate. The pockets were then fitted onto a stump cutter wheel. And the teeth bolted into the pockets. Stump grinder 13hp Electric Start
This is a Bluebird model 1314A Stump Grinder. It has a new 13 hp electric start engine which has approximately 50 hours of run time. It has pretty new carbide grinding teeth and an extra set of teeth as well. It takes 8 teeth when replacing. Everything is in working order. Engine starts quickly and the battery is fairly new as well maybe a year old. It is not a self prepelled model but it is light enough to push around. We find this unit works best for small to medium size stumps but I have ground some as large as 24 inches accross. It takes a lot of energy for the operator to do one that big.

This is an excellent running/ operating stump grinder with Auto Sweep and hydraulic drive for easy maneuverability Kohler 25hp gas engine is in perfect condition and runs excellent as it should with only 398 hours. Machine is tight and ready to work. Machine has been well maintained and no signs of abuse at all. Teeth are Yellow Jacket teeth and are in about 80% condition. So they have a lot of life left. I'm selling it to upgrade to another portable machine. It has been garage kept since I got it. Recent upgrades include new gearbox August 2014. New water pump, new belt, new thermostat, new fuel injector lines, new rubber coupler in pto shaft, swing cylinder pins and bushings, lift cylinder bushings.
