Here's an interesting group of three old good sized matted photographs from maybe the very late 1800's and more likely early 1900's to about 1910. These depicts a group of workmen at an old saw mill or lumber mill of the period. These all seem to be of the same group as the man with the striped shirt shows up in all the photos. The detail quality on these is very good when examined closely. The saw blade in the background is visible in one of the photos. One of the photos has the horse teams, in some of the photos the men are carrying peavey's, bow saws or other log and lumber related tools. My guess is they have an early stationary steam engine or similar early engine running the sawmill as you can a tall smoke pipe in some of the photos. The three were kept together for a single listing as the collective should be nice for ... morethose who collect and display old sawmill, lumber yard, logging and related items. They are a little on the dusty, dirty side on the matting and a little on the light side. Nice set overall. The photos themselves are about 5 by 8 inches and the matted dimensions are 8 by 11. My guess is these were taken somewhere here in New Hampshire. We're not photo specialist and think this type of antique photo is called a cabinet photo as opposed to a CDV. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this group of 3 old or antique photographs low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack these carefully. When packed the piece will weigh about 12 ozs so we'll use USPS First Class service at a fixed rate of $3.50 as the lowest cost postal alternative to the buyer. We have no packing or handling charge. Extra cost USPS postal services like Postal Insurance or Upgraded postal services are easily available should the winning bidder wish to make arrangements. As mentioned above, International Bidders should be aware that this item is not listed for sale outside the United States and we ask that International Bidder do not bid on this item. Plea

I first got into selling s& p shakers because a very good friend of mine got a bunch from her grandmothers estate when she passed on. Her grandmother had a very large collection that covered her whole house. My friend was able to sell some but still had two huge boxes hanging out in her attic collecting dust and wondered if I would like to sell them. I must have had over 100 different sets and so I learned quite a lot about them. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to sell more and here they are. These are 2 3/4" tall. 1 3/4" wide. And 1 1/2" deep. They are circa'70's and would be a working residence addition to any collection or on any dining table. If you have any questions please email. I am good about getting back in a timely manner. If you are interested in any of my other items I do combine shipping. Happy ... moreebaying and thanks for your interest.
