It is tapered starting at about 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" on center. The handle bar is in pretty good shape with some minor chips and scratches. If you are a collector. I think the handle bar could easily be refinished with some stain and polyurethane. The steel tongs have an outer dimension of 23" long. The"holding" or inner grip ranges from 5" to 18" The points on the tongs are sharp. The tongs have some paint loss. I am also including a 65" long nylon/ polyester sling. The sling is 2" wide and may be used for additional skidding/pulling power.
