This is a Dadant& Sons antique/vintage bee smoker. It is in good shape. I believe it is made of tin or some sort of metal. It does have rust and the tip is a little bent as shown in pics. The bellow is in good shape. On the bottom of the bellow there is a D logo and it reads Dadant& Sons. Inc Hamilton, IL 62341. I bought this contraption. apparatus a few years ago on a Dutch flea market and I was told that this was an old bee smoker. So forgive me if I'm wrong. This smoker consist of a water container. A small burner and some sort of stove/container that both holds the burner and the smoker. The stove is made out of steel? whilst the burner& water container are made out of brass. Total hight is 40 cms(15.75 inches) Spouts measure 32 cms& 14.5 cms( 12.6 inches& 5.71 inches) Width of the stove container/ burner holder is 24 cms(handles included) which converts to 9.45 inches. If there's anyone out there who can tell me what this truly is I would be very grateful! Please have a look at my other auctions. This charming smoker appears to be complete with all original materials used in its construction. The bellows are completely intact and force air through the nozzle as they should. The entire piece contains the patina characteristic of an older. Gently used item built of various materials. The tin metal has darkened with age and the wood is a warm, deep gold and brown. There are a few very small indents in the metal and the edge of the nozzle tip is bent inward. We have not attempted to clean or alter this item in any way. I bought this at a sale. It looks like it has been used quite a bit, there is a loose part on the inside of the metal canister I don't know if that is normal or not, I'm sure you experienced beekeeper people would know. When I pump it I can feel air come out of the metal nozzle on top so I am assuming this thing works like it should. There is quite a bit of soot buildup inside the metal can that needs to be cleaned out. Please ask questions prior to bidding.

Antique Bee Smoker Fogger Pollinator Cincinnati McCullough Seed Co. Horticulture Unusual bee smoker or pollinator measuring 15" long by 4" wide. Has a beautiful intact original label from the McCullough Seed Company in the shape of a serrated edge leaf. The label reads"Seeds. Plants, Bulbs" has the aforementioned company name, and states the company address as"385 Main St. Opp(opposite) Courthouse" This region of Cincinnati is now under the stadium. A bit of research on the Cincinnati views website shows advertising postcards from this company(with the leaf insignia) but the address does not coordinate with a listed address circa 1875, making me believe this piece of horticulture, bee keeping and Cincinnati history predates that date.The company was started in 1840. The reference to being"opposite the courthouse" ... moreis historically ellusive. The first two Cincinnati courthouses were near this section of Main St. By 1819 the courthouse had been relocated to the Court St. and Main area putting it in the 900 block of Main St. My only conclusion is that this reference is referring to what at that time was the"old" courthouse since the company was not started until 1840. A bit of further research may accurately place this piece in time. The fine print: Item is sold as-is and as described. I do my best to give accurate and honest descriptions and judge the item condition critically. If anything is less than perfect it will be noted. Please review the condition description and pictures. For sale is a never used bee keepers smoker pot with bellows. Copper with a vinyl bellow. Made by Dadant& son. Not sure of it's age but I have never seen one that was never used.No breaks dents or repairs.

Vintage Antique Bee Hive Fogger or Smoker. Still Works. Good Bellows
This is an older bee hive fogger that is still in working condition. I'm not sure who made it. The only stamping is a patent number on the inner wood panel. The bellows are good and it pumps well. You can either keep it to display or put it back to use. They don't get much cheaper than this. Please e-mail any questions. No buy it now requests please. A.I.R. inside a club/clover shape BEE-KEEPERS-SUPPLIES. Due to age use and storage issues there are imperfections that include bellows are dry and cracked in places are a bit dusty on top. Metal smoker section has discoloration. Spots including light surface rust spots and stains, paint is peeled in a few places due to be used there is a residue on inside. Front and bellows are attached nicely. Measures approx. 10" tall at highest point front of spout to base and approx. 11" front to back, front of spout to back of bellows and approx. 5" wide, widest section of bellows.
