Primitive Beekeeping Bee Smoker Vintage Antique Tin with wood leather bellow
Found this old tin and wood beekeeper bee smoker at an IOWA FARM AUCTION. The smoke chamber is leather on the outside and fully intact. The tin canister has a good bit of surface rust but is still solid and has the strainer inside. Appears to have all the metal brackets that came with it originally; top removes easily. It is in decent condition and could be used as a nice display piece with a little cleaning. Any writing that was on the wood bellow has faded away. The air pumps very well and could be used if you’d like. It is 10" tall at the spout. The bellow is 7.5” Tall and 5” wide. Please email with any questions. Selling as is. As pictured with no reserve. Antique Primitive Wooden Shipping Crate Box. Marked " A I Root Co, Medina, OH"
Auction is for an antique wooden packag ing crate. A I Root. Medina" hand written on top lid(photos1,2,3) A bit faint and faded but its there along with some other lettering stamped on and partial orange paper label. Originally lid was nailed on. Now it sits loose on top-not hinged or anything. Crate measures 27" x 12 1/2" x 11" Piece of wood on one side is gone/split away, maybe happened when lid was taken off. Primitive look with nail holes stains and all. Am listing pick up only(in Medina) If buyer wants it shipped let me know and I can calculate shipping cost.

Antique Novice's Honey Extractor Cetrifuge A I Root Co, Medina, OH Primitive Bee
This vintage honey extraction barrel is in as found condition. This came from a great pre civil war farm. This is pre 1940s the owner said he bought this in the 1940s used. This honey extraction would have probably costed about $200.00- 250.00 brand new a long time ago. They still make these today and use these. You could probably make your own cap for the bottom spout. You could put a plastic cap or metal. Whatever your mind desires. I was told that this was in working condition from the owner. He was a bee farmer and used to use this a lot. I could not seem to get it to work right. I should have taken a lesson. Thank you!

Antique vintage bee keeping smokers primitive
Ok. Let me start out by saying that the only thing I know about bees, is I scream like a girl when one gets in the car. That being said, these are an estate sale find. One is a Woodman Bee-Ware smoker. The bellow are in good shape, and from what I can tell, it works. Evidently, they made these things forever, so I really don't know the exact age, but from the'patina' it was well used. It has light surface rust. The other one. I don't know. I can find no identification and it's covered in rust, but has no holes One side is dented. Let the pics do the talking. Anywho. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

VERY OLD DADANT& SONS BEE SMOKER for Bee-keeping Beautiful vintage condition. The person I got this from said it was from 1923. Still works! Heat shield. Bellows, hinge and internal coal area ~ all in fine condition. Lovely just as a"primitive" piece for display. This one has a grained. Green"leather" bellows that is very unique. Huge letter"D" printed onto wood backing. There is a fascinating history of Dadant& Sons of Illinois on their website. Just google the title to find it.I am unable to publish it here. Primitive Antique AAFA Bee Keeper Keeping Bee Box Hive Follk Art Original Paint
Up for auction with no reserve. Primitive Bee Keeper Box in original paint. Made by hand. Note the detail in the craftsmanship of this wonderful piece. Hand drilled holes on top and sides. Hand wrought handle and square head nails. Oxidation around nail heads reveals they are all original. Awesome patina on the ox blood red color paint. Note the chamfered edge around top of box. Solid construction allowed this box to survive for years. Circa early to mid 1800s. Front of box slides up and out to access honey combs that would have slid in between bars. All original in very good condition. See all 12 photos. Mousse over to zoom. Additional photos are available on request. Box measures 10 1/2" width. 9 1/2" depth and 8" height. Handle is 9" wide.
