Vintage wood and leather bellow with brass tip and tacks. Leather at the front has torn& come unattached under the one leather strip close to the tear(see photo) needs repair to the leather. The rest of the leather is fairly soft- as you can see it has some water stains a does show a little wear on the edges. I don't know much about this piece. I am going to describe it to the best of my ability. Please see all pictures and ask any questions. I believe this is a vintage bellow. The craftsmanship is making me think it is older. It is made of wood and leather. And I believe the end metal piece is brass. A magnet does not stick to it and there is a tiny spot of tarnishing on the underside. The bellow works nicely. There is no air escaping on the piece when it is in use, if that is of importance? There is a nice circular leaf design pressed into the top of the bellow. It is 17.5" long by 6.75" wide.

this is a gorgeous antique handmade leather wood and brass fireplace bellow. it has ornate detailing and the face is a tooled/ hand hammered and engraved brass which is highly embossed. It is even a bit hard to photograph because the detailing is so intense and detailed. on the back handle it has a detailed victorian style bronze hanging handle to be able to hang the bellow. the tip is made from a solid very thick piece of brass that has a nice patina from age. the bellow is a red colored quality thick leather and works great. it is also studded with nice brass studs. measures 25 1/4 x 9 inches great handmade high quality bellow. This is a really cool bellow. I don't know the exact age by it looks old/ has signs of wear. Its easy to tell its hand carved. The wood is in excellent condition for an older piece- I took pictures of all the imperfections. Some parts of the leather have cracks. Works fine. Brass top is worn. One of the leather straps to hang it is partially torn. There is one loop that is not torn so you can still hang it. No identifying marks. It's a really neat carved piece. Found this old tin and wood beekeeper bee smoker at an IOWA FARM AUCTION. The smoke chamber is leather on the outside and fully intact. The tin canister has a good bit of surface rust but is still solid and has the strainer inside. Appears to have all the metal brackets that came with it originally; top removes easily. It is in decent condition and could be used as a nice display piece with a little cleaning. Any writing that was on the wood bellow has faded away. this is a huge very rare antique hand carved wood. Leather, and brass fireplace bellow blower. It is completely made by hand and the ornate carving in the center depicts the World renowned novelist Cervantes. Writer of Don Quixote. it is very dimensional and has great detailing with wonderful scroll work in high relief. the background also has a nice hand cut textured finish with an engraved trim. it has a long dual handle which also has a nice deeply cut pattern. the high quality leather is a nice green color.
