Vintage Book – John Deere FB-A Fertilizer Grain Drill Manual INV-P870
For sale is a vintage operators manual for a John Deere FB-A Fertilizer grain drill. This is part number OM–M15-c9. This manual measures approximately 6 inches wide by approximately 9 inches tall. All of the pages seem to be intact and it is over 50 pages in length. The manual is in decent shape. With some heavy wear to the outside cover but the inside pages are good. This book has medium where. Significant edge issues and where, but appears to be completely intact. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would give this manual a 5. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a large(thousands of books) amount of tractor manuals/books/equipment manuals/etc. From a local tractor collector. These all came out of a Massey– Harris– Ferguson dealership for many years ago. This is the first time that any of these manuals have seen eBay ... moreor anywhere else for sale. Awesome Vintage Lot of Diecast John Deere Toys made by Ertl. This lot includes a very old. I believe 1970's, 4X4 Wheel Drive Dual Tractor and a Vintage Grain Drill with the series number 452. The Grain Drill is also vintage but I do not believe it is as old as the tractor. I believe it was made late 1980's, early to mid 1990's. Here is the measurements of each item: 4WD Duel Tractor- 13"long x 8"tall x 7 1/2"wide Grain Drill- 9 1/2"long x 3 1/4"tall x 9 3/4"wide(I measured from tire to tire for width) Great items for collectors. Grain Drill Covering Chains; Repurpose; Industrial Art
You are bidding on a lot of 6 used planter or drill covering chains. These were replacement parts and are not antiques. The chains have 3.5 inch diameter rings with a total length of 21inches with hooks and connecting links. One of these chains has some rust. The rest are clean. The cover looks to be in good shape. Someone put a nice paint job on this, it does not appear to have much pitting under the paint. There is a small piece that broke off by the bottom hole-see pic, but it was painted over so its not very noticable, it measures 16" long and 10 1/2" wide at the top. It is quite heavy it still has the wire on the back so its ready to hang in your mancave/barn. This vintage John Deere 1/16th scale grain grill shows no makers mark that I can see. I am not an authority in this field of interest. However from collector information. This item seems to have been made for Ertl/ Eska by Carter Tru-Scale in the 1950's. The toy is in played with condition and has rust from being left outside. The lever still operates lifting the discs as it should. The lids to the seed boxes open freely also. The wheels roll smoothly as well. This item would be a great candidate for restoration as it is mostly all there in operating condition. The 6th picture shows rear view of right side that is missing one seed tube. The dimensions are about 7 inches wide. Top of lever is the tallest point and measures about 4 inches. Roughly 7 inches in length. This would be a great addition to your collection. I have for auction a Vintage John Deere Drill made by Ertl in the 1960's in the USA. There is some paint and decal wear. All drill tubes look original. Still green for the most part The lever lifts and lowers the metal disc's. Some hang going down but will come down if you press them Check out the pictures. There is no Box. It has the die cast frame with plastic rollers. It has the metal tongue. Metal rims and rubber tires, metal levers that works, the two lids lift and are metal. This piece is all metal. It is a vintage piece from the 1960's. There is no reserve Can stand a good cleaning but I am not a toy collector and don't want to cause an issue. So I ended the listing to get his information out of the public eyes. Lilliston 9680 10' no till grain drill. Same as the Massey Ferguson 427 Grain drill so it should be easy to get parts I have never personally used this drill. It has been on our farm for years and was replaced with a larger model years ago. Planting width is 10' Transport width is wider. The drill has a single coulter in front of the opener disc that is used to cut through crop residue. This is a very heavy no till planter and has 4600 acres on the counter. The parts in the box are spare parts. Also has small seed box(used to plant small seeds like alfalfa)and twin cylinder hydraulic down pressure. ... moreThe drill has double disc openers and they measure 12" to 13" With only about 3" of ground clearance in full raised position so they cant have much wear. The drill has not been used for over 4 years and was sitting under a tarp until last year. As far as I know the drill is usable but you may need to do some maintance do to the drill setting outside. The hitch can fold up out of the way to load sideways on a trailer. I am starting this drill below scrape metal price! That way the purchaser can afford to put some work into it if needed and still get a good deal. Look on TractorHouse.com.
