This little tractor is running in the photos it has a two cylinder diesel engine that runs good,it also has a fully bhydraulic loader with down pressure that works very good, I am not sure of the year but the serial number is 701912, the hood fits tightly but now I have a battery that is two big and the hood hits it if it had a smaller battery the hood would fit as it should, it has a good working PTO which is live the hydraulics are live as well, the clutch and brakes work very good, it has six speeds forward and two reverse, three speed trans. with HI/LO, has a rear hitch on it, it has a rockshaft so a three point hitch can be added if you need one, this is a four wheel drive machine but the four wheel drive is not working, why I dont know we never checked it out, might be an easy fix but it operates great without it, the ... morerear tires are 90% tread turf tires older tires but good condition, the front tires are brnad new, sheetmetal is very solid, if you are looking for a good little yard or garden tractor with a loader for snow removal moving firewood or whatever your need may be this one is ready to go to work, it starts, runs and drives very well. 1948 Massey Harris 30 model. Has a working PTO and 3pt. This tractor was in inside storage for about 25 years. I purchased it several years ago and recently got it running. Although it does have some issues this tractor is a good solid project. Has newer plugs. Wires, belt, hoses, in-line fuel filter, carb has been cleaned, and a recently rebuilt starter. May need a new battery. It is a 6v system and will not turn over. I can jump it directly to starter and crank with a 12v battery. The tractor seems to have good compression but for some reason burns oil when running. Once warm there is a unknown engine noise. Seemed to be only noticeable at idle. May need new bearings. Needs an ignition and key, currently the wires are connected to bypass key. My buddy had it running about a month ago for me. I have A 1945 john deere h its a barn find. I got it running I had a junk battery 12 volt battery and I jump started it that way. It will run but the carb must still have some crud in it. And the linkage needs some adjustment. It has a live hydraulic pump and pto. The rims are ok all around and tire's not bad I just had a boot put in the back tire on the left. The sheet metal is good and usable shape. The shifter will pull out but I think it just needs a new e clip on it? I also have extra parts that go with it like extra hood& gas tank. Selling Ford 801 Powermaster Tractor with front-end loader. Everything works on this tractor. I've included a link to a video to demonstrate the tractor's abilities so you can see it in action cutting grass and loading manure in a spreader. I've used it over the years to haul manure. Dig a craw space for a house, pull out posts, cut grass, and just about anything else you can imagine. The tractor engine is the 172 cu. in Ford 4 cylinder engine and the specs in the manual say the Horsepower is 6.2@ 2200 rpm I also purchased a maintenance manual and owner's manual a few years back and paid over $200 for them. I am including them with the tractor. The PTO works and the 3-point hitch lowers and raises(all-hydraulic) I've also installed a brand new steering wheel since the pictures were taken. Fordson Dexta Diesel Tractor with live PTO (circa 1950's)
Thank you for taking time to view this auction for a vintage Fordson Dexta tractor. All the original manufacturer name badges are still in place. I have not been able to confirm the year it was made but I believe it to be from right around 1950's. The tractor runs off diesel and PTO and hydraulics work as they should. The transmission is a three speed with two speed rear end. The steering is tight and tires are fare(all hold air no problem) The paint you see was put on simply to preserve the metal but is in no way a restored tractor. The tractor does run and the fuel heater does work as well as the primer on the tank and the tank is clean. Until two and a half years ago the previous owner(who is now deceased) used the tractor every summer to brush beat around his property. Now for the flaws of this vintage tractor: the right rear fender ... moreis missing. Muffler is missing, the starter does turn over(however very slowly) and we have been pull starting it. Also the only way we have found to idol the tractor down is to pull of fuel kill on the fuel pump. I have attempted to fix this myself but have not been able to find anyone in the area of the state I live in to be able to help with this or offer advice. The tractor is located in Mooreland, OK which is 80 miles west of Enid on highway 412 and approximately 130 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. This tractor will run and drive on a trailer upon pickup. This auction is for the lower 48 states only. The winning bidder can pay using paypal or I will accept cash in person if picked up within 14 days of auctions end and I will not accept ECHECKS. The belly mower came with my tractor and was garage kept along with the tractor since purchase in 1988. There are no holes or anything close due to rust. The tractor came out of a estate here local in Wisconsin, it was used as a toabcco cultivating tractor for the last 30 years, the tractor has many options includng the electric start with a good 6 volt battery, the original fenders which are a rare find, they are solid and in good condition, a few dings but solid and would restore easily, also has a PTO, it also has the light bracket and light shells but no lenses, the sheetmetal is very solid with a few dings, the tractor would restore easily, has a rare and always missing pair of shutters, original front caste rims in good condition one of the front tires does not hold air, the rear tires are 9.5/36 one at 90% tread in good condition the other is at 80% tread and older tire, has correct ... moreseat bracket and a good drawbar hitch, the tractor is running in the photos, it is running in the photos and runs very good with good oil pressure and does not smoke, the brakes and transmission both work good the PTO works as it should, there is a patch on the block it has been there for 20 years, if you are running it for 20 minutes you can start to see a little wetness by the patch but ti wont leak enough in a season of running to affect the level in the radiator, the oil is clean and no antifreeze getting in oil, you can clean this up and restore tractor as is or get a block and replace it, either way it is a very good running tractor that has all the options including RARE fenders. Tractor starts hard like most Germans when its cold. Has a miss to the motor but if you pull out the fuel stop cable it will clear up. It needs the pump looked at. But runs good when it wants to but in the cold weather its more noticeable. When it was warm out it run fine. Has some blow by but nothing bad for a German. Has 16.9X38 rear rubber that are not special but hold air and are not weathered to bad. One rim is rusty. Has tilt steering. John Deere 2520 Utility Tractor 27 horsepower 4wd Hydro Trans with a 68" Meteor 2 Stage Snow Blower! This machine is ready to clear the biggest snow drifts! Everything works ok but the tractor has a couple issues. The hour meter is broken so it actually has about 2500 hours on it. The transmission whines and is weak in forward but it still drives and otherwise works perfectly. Its a solid tractor that starts right up even in zero degree weather and runs strong. John Deere 1010 Gas Narrow Front Power Steering 3pt Hitch Platform Shift. Tractor runs and everything operates just as it should. PTO works great. Used 6' bush hog behind it and 6' disk. Tractor does have power steering. I had the carburetor rebuilt at the end of the season last year. Rear tires are pretty good. Front tires are really good, sheet metal pretty good not perfect, seat is new, steering wheel is new, new John Deere hood emblems. It has ll its side panels and lights work. This is a work tractor its not a show tractor unless you restore it. It a straight old tractor. I been using this tractor for anything and everything on the farm, I have rented my pasture and no longer need. The bigger tires in the back give it great stability. This tractor has been a very dependable tractor I'm the third owner. Perfect for hobby farm, ... moregarden, or mowing pasture. This is just the right size for small to big jobs.
