1966 Ford 3000 Farm Tractor w/ Power Steering, 3pt, 47 HP, Gas Engine
For sale is a 1966 Ford 3000 gas tractor. It is serial number:C149824(denoting it was made in the Michigan. USA plant) It is Select-O-Speed with 10 forward and 2 reverse speeds. Rear tires are loaded to help with traction. Power steering and hydraulics work smooth. Runs strong. Clutch and brakes work well. The headlights are not hooked up and the choke cable is severed so it's manual choke at the moment. It's a cheap fix just a pain to install. It runs in all gears with most gears being smooth within range and a slight delay going into a gear or two. I don't know a lot about the select-o-speed. For a 50 year old tractor it works pretty smooth. This tractor spent most of its life as a fleet tractor with a hydraulic roller brush on the front with a pump driven off the crank pulley which is what I was told when I got it.
