It ended up costing me a lot of work.$ 30.00 I won't get back, and they won't even let me leave feedback for him. Kind of goes with the times. I will be selling this local also since ebay and paypal will net around 300 for this auction if it sells. Let me start by saying this is not a John Deere tractor. It was painted JD colors. It is however a great Vintage Japanese tractor just as good as a deere. They are made in Japan now also. This is a 4 cylinder gas 25 HP that was made by Satoh before it was Mitsubishi. The engine is made by Mazda and very reliable. This one has a good working front end loader that will pick up a small block Chevy engine ... moreand load it in a Uhaul truck-I have done it. It will also move a car trailer with a car on it using three point lift-hitch on rear. It has the locking rear differential by stepping on a pedal with heel to make it a posi. 2 speed PTO shaft, hi and low trans making 6 speeds forward and two reverse. The loader pump and cylinders/lines were replaced right before I purchased it. It has an electric Napa fuel pump that replaced the old pump.Makes it nice just to turn on key and gas pumps up. It never runs hot, the alternator charges battery good, the oil pressure gauge starts out at half way and goes up instead of starting at zero, has done that for years. The steering has play in it, seat is ripped, one rear rim has rust by valve stem and was painted over- I have never had to add air in tires for the years I have owned it. The brakes are good The bucket has some rust holes. The headlights are new and not wired up, rear light works good. No cable for the tach, was missing when I got it. you get the pattern, I am listing everything I know. None of this takes away from the fact this is a good old loader tractor for little money. I recently painted this tractor and although it is not perfect it looks nice. The tractor has a new seat and a newer battery. The tractor starts. Runs, and operates well. The 4 wheel drive pulls great and the tires are in good condition with years of wear remaining. The front end loader works great and is very handy around the farm/house.This tractor has an economical diesel engine that starts and runs great with only 1011 hours. Brakes, clutch, lift, pto, FEL etc works fine as well. With 25 hp it has more hp than many compact tractors. This one had the power to run a 5 ft cutter and many three point attachments. This is a Satoh Bison. S650G, 25 HP, Gasoline tractor, manufactured by Mitsubishi. Parts are still available from Mitsubishi. The engine is out of the tractor and apart. I bought the tractor in good running condition. I repainted it and used it for a while and it started smoking. I took the engine out of it to fix it. I found one piston with a broken oil ring. I bought all new rings, bearings and gaskets to overhaul it. That was about 8 years ago. I've been sidetracked on several other projects since. I put the front end back on it to move it around. I have some spare used engine parts. New rod and main bearings, new rings(all Standard) and a new gasket set. I have a repair and parts manual also. All go with the tractor. The tractor is equipped with a folding ROPS system, and a fiberglass top(sunshade) The sunshade does have a crack on the left side, but has been repaired with a piece of sheet-metal to reinforce the broken fiberglass. The transmission is equipped with 6 forward speeds and 6 reverse speeds, and the tractor has shuttle shift. The loader is a Spirit SL10 quick detach loader with 8 position joystick, and hydraulic ... morequick-disconnect lines. The tractor is also equipped with and engine block heater for the winter, as well as hydraulic power steering! I purchased this tractor about 3 yrs ago to bush-hog around a new house and acreage that we moved too. The tractor runs well. And has not given me any mechanical problems since I've had it. the only items I have replaced since I have owned it have all been replaced within the last year. the tractor has had a new OEM gear reduction starter, new battery from NAPA, and new alternator installed during the last 12 months. If you are in need of a tractor to clean up your land, but don't want to spend $20,000-$30,000 dollars on a new tractor, than this may be the tractor for you! The loader by itself is usually an extra $5,000 add on to most tractors, and is a must have tool for anybody with land to take care of! This tractor doesn't have any major body damage. And does have your typical dents, dings, and scratches from being used for the past 9 years.
