Very Rare John Deere 40C This crawler is very original and all completely functional. It was purchased from the original owner. It has Factory Installed 3 Point Hitch with adjustable center link. Factory PTO Shaft with guard. Also please note the idler rock guards in place as well as the sprocket cleaners. All of these options are very rarely seen on a John Deere 40C Serial Number 64436 which makes this unit a 1954 according to tractordata website. Also has a manual side angle adjustment feature. Antique" John Deere crawler tractor. Gas engine(was best option in these years, I understand diesel plant was having problems) engine uses oil but tractor runs, six way hydraulic blade works good. Good tracks and rollers, I have used the tractor for the last several years for"around the farm" work. I am now retired and have no further use and it is a great collector's item but I will have no room for it when farm is sold. Tractor will load easily. Transmission has"shuttle" for quick use when dozing.

1954 John Deere Model 40C Crawler Bulldozer Two Cylinder Engine Vintage Tractor
1954 John Deere 40C.Crawler,serial# 66886, five roller. Tractor Runs good.Starts good,NOTE:right stick does not work.I was told it is probalby the universal linkage inside the right housing that they pop apart at the bottom of the linkage and is a common repair.Last photo shows a old repair to the case just behind the right brake pedal, appears to be a good weld no further cracking. Blade framework has several weld repairs on it, all holding just a FYI. Blade goes up and down with the cylinder and is a manual pin type left or right for blade angle. Caterpillar Thirty Five Antique Crawler Tractor, Cat 35 Gas
Up for auction with no reserve is an antique Caterpillar model thirty five gas crawler serial number 5C621. This crawler is one of only 1730 ever built& it was only built between 1932 and 1935. The crawler has a nice serial tag along with a pretty nice undercarriage for the age. Currently the engine is stuck. But from looking in the spark plug holes should free up pretty easy. This is a narrow gauge model 35. The steering clutches feel very springing which is a good thing on these ole cats. The crawler weights approximately 12,500 pounds or so, so please consider that for hauling. This will be sold as is where is. Buyer is fully responsible for transport. Runs good, has good oil pressure, block was fixed at one time(see pic) great job done! does not leak. 3 forward and 1 reverse gear, all gears, clutch, steering clutches and brakes work great, believe to be a 1937 model no tag visible, undercarriage and tracks in good shape, has a belly pan. 1959 John Deere 440 Crawler Gas this machine is in excellent condition. It has been completely overhauled 73 hours ago, it is running in the photos and runs excellent with no smoke and good oil pressure it has some rare option including the RARE original three point hitch no many crawlers had three points, also has a good working PTO, has a factory reverser where you can go from forward to reverse without clutching the machine. A good 5 speed transmission, new 12 volt battery and the charging system works, the bleade is in very good condition and can be angled from right to left manually, the undercarriage and tracks are in very good condition there is a photo of one of the sprockets, it steers very good, also has a rear drawbar hitch, the clutch and brake both work good, the choke cable is missing I have a wire on it but it will usually ... morefire right up without choke, it has both lights but are not working, the paint is good and the metal is solid, the final drives are not welded, there are no welds on this machine, you will look long and hard to find a nicer machine, if you are looking for one to use, add to your collection or completely restore this one is excellent and selling NO RESERVE. if you have any questions email or call me at 1-920-988-6388, I can help load and help arrange delivery, I will store this machine for 6 months if paid for please NO PAYPAL unless you contact me first.
