Hinomoto C174 - 4x4 Diesel tractor
1985 Hinomoto C174 4wd tractor. It has between 500-1000 hours(meter has never worked- it appears to have been zeroed and disconnected when it was refurbished/imported) but based on condition it is in that range and I put about 50 hours a year on it. Normal smoke on startup but only very light smoke under load(normal for a 30 year old tractor) Clutch and brakes are sound. Hydraulics are good(it has 2 pumps- hydraulic pumps run even with clutch engaged) Tires are in good shape. It has been stored indoors. Has little issues(see above) top of exhaust came off, tear in seat, etc. but it is ready to work. Parts are easy to get as this tractor was imported as a Massey Fergeson, Allis Chalmers, and Simplicity with only minor changes. Very similar to a Kubota but with a more powerful engine for the size. Here is a Kubota BX2660 tractor for sale. It currently has 143 hours on it. It was purchased in November of 2010 for over $17.500. It comes with extra set of bar tires with chains, grass bagger and a 48" front loader. It was just serviced from an authorized Kubota dealer for fluid changes and general inspection. I replaced countershaft, four wheel drive works fine, and have used it for about 60 hours.
