This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they didn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. Vintage Tektronix Oscilloscope Model 545A Type 53/54K Plug-in Unit
Offered is a Techtronics 545A Oscilliscope with Type 53/54K Plug-In Unit. I purchased this unit at an Estate sale. As you can see from the photos it has numerous scratches and marks on the outside paint finish but no dents or damage other than cosmetic.The cover on the carry handles is cracked and damaged. The front face has some scratches and wear and tear. Inside it is remarkably clean. The cooling fan runs fine. I cleaned the outside and thoroughly inspected the inside. Found no noticeable damage or problems. I don't know how to use a scope but was able to test it by following start up instructions from a free online manual for a 545 unit. After spending a lot of time adjusting the front controls following instructions from the manual. I was able to get the square tooth signal you see in the photos. It is a test signal from the Cal ... moreout jack connected with a jumper to the Plug in unit Input jack. Other than that no other tests were done. I don't have any cables or probes and wouldn't know how to use them if I did. I can't make any promises as to how well it will work otherwise. Sorry. At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" ... moreso it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. Extra time was taken to research and purchase the correct genuine Tektronix test probes and instruction manual that are best compatiable with the Tektronix 465B. Tektronix Model 2235 Oscilloscope, Rechecked Calibration, in Working Condition.
Hello. I am Re-Listing this Tektronix Model 2235 Oscilloscope because I ran one more test on it. See the Photo that I Took. I compared the Calibration of this 2235 with another Tektronix scope that I have using the same signal source on both scopes together at the very same time. All the controls and switch settings were the same for both units. What I found out was that I was correct in my previous description that this scope is very close if not right on the money for calibration as is shown in one of the pictures that I took using that same signal generator connected to both units. Now I am still selling this 2235 as in used condition. But w ith the additional 1/2 hour Calibration Test I preformed I now feel better in saying that it seem to be working OK. From the Amount of Testing That I Did to this unit. and is Calibrated quite close. ... moreNOTE: There are still some Out of Focus Pictures shown because of my camera and me turning the camera's Flash Off. This scope has a Very Bright CRT Intensity. The Focus is Very Sharp. I Rechecked that against the Tek Scope next to it. And the 2235 was much brighter and still had a Sharper Focus to it. All the Knobs are still on the front panel. None are Missing. T he front panel controls work like they should. And move freely too. There looks to be some repairs made to the controls in the past. Position Control replaced. Other then that this Tektronix Model 2235's Front Panel is Clean. Free from Scratches and/or Stickers too. Check Out The Pictures that I Took. The Cabinet has some Paint Scratches on the top and sides. But it is not in too bad of shape and has no major dents on it. This Tektronix 2235 Oscilloscope comes with a Power Cord. Hello. Up for Bidding is a Very Nice Clean Working, Calibrated Tektronix Model 2215A Oscilloscope. It was my Personal Oscilloscope for over a year now. When I bought it. I found out that it had a BAD CRT. So I replaced it and have been using it when testing out and fixing other Tektronix Scopes. I am Offering to the winning bidder of this scope. Two(2) Brand New 100 Mhz X1- X10 Scope Probes so that you can start using this scope as soon as you take it out of the shipping box. Yes it comes with a Power Line Cord too. The Scope you see in the Photo's is the very scope you will get. Please Check out the Pictures that I took of this scope working and Notice how Clean this Unit is. Note: Some of the pictures of the waveforms may look like they are out of Focus. But that is me trying to take some Good CRT Display Views without using my cameras ... moreflash. I Re-checked the calibration on this scope using my two signal generators once again and everything looks real good in that department. This would make a great oscilloscope for someone who needs a second Back-up unit which can be used in ones garage on the work bench. For Auction: One of the great analogue oscilloscopes. The Tektronix 561B made by Tektronix. Which is also a hybrid. The scope mainframe is mostly solid state. The plug-ins have some solid-state devices but depend mostly on tubes. The mainframe is complete& operational. Two plug-ins are provided but the audio tubes have been removed. If you are old school or prefer old school electronics. This would be a nice scope. It is maintainable in practice and parts are accessible. Does not come with probes but will use any standard generic probe terminated in a BNC connector. Documentation is all over the web but I can supply some of it on CD for the buyer if wanted. Self calibration ... moreis okay and the CRT has plenty of life left in it. I recommend running this off 115VAC. Included with the scope is an original Tektronix cart shown in the last two pictures. This cart was marketed for the old 545 size oscilloscopes and I have used it for this 561B. It is all aluminum and if you are handy with metal work. This could be easily tailored down for the 561B. All the documentation you need is on the BAMA/EDEBRIS site. Contact me BEFORE you bid to verify your pickup plans. Condition: Used. Powers up fine& basic functions appear to be working normally. The self calibration check(square wave panel output) tests normally. Tektronix MSO4034 Model 4034 350MHz 2.5GS/s Oscilloscope
These Oscilloscopes are simply amazing! All three are identical and are in like new condition with not a scratch or blemish on them. I have enjoyed using them but I just can't justify keeping them around any longer. I use a very small subset of what they capable of. But they have worked flawlessly for everything I have needed. You can see in the second picture that I have my Agilent 33250A(not included) generating a 1khz wave and it nails it perfectly on the scope. As I move the wave around on the generator the scope tracks it perfectly and allows all of the zoom and inspection functions as it should. I hate to see them go, but they need to go to someone who will use them more than I do. Ask any questions before purchase and I'll promptly respond. Tektronix Tektronics Model 224 Handheld Digital Storage Oscilloscope Scope
This is a handheld portable 2-channel Tektronix Model 224 digital storage oscilloscope. I purchased it new when I was a Tech Rep but I don't have a need for it now. It comes with a very nice travel bag. Shoulder strap and a shoulder pad. It has always been under my personal care. You can be assured that it is in great condition. It has a bandwidth of 60 MHz and has 4 memory locations for saved waveforms. It is shown displaying a waveform from an external waveform generator. It has the original battery and includes the factory instruction book. The original wall power supply was lost in Egypt and the replacement from Motorola works fine. For your consideration: I have a Tektronix Model 221 Oscilloscope. With the power cord and test lead. Also the battery holders and battery leads. Item was working back in 2000 at least that's the last time it was calibrated. Batteries have been remove since they were dead. No battery corrosion present so boards are good. No major damage, cracks or even deep scratches. All the knobs and switches turn without any trouble. These items have internal power supply issues(capacitors? go bad and the power supply cannot function properly, there fore it does not work. They can be repaired by someone that has the right skills to do so. Boards all look clean w/o any damage or corrosion. Item does come with the fold out foot.
