Fluke 97 scopemeter Not Working This unit stopped turning on suddenly. I do not have the time to perform repairs. I did some research and found its power Suppy is the problem. When the charger is connected and the battery is charged. Press the power button and you can hear a very quiet whine of a capacitor charging up. As far as I understand there is a flyback converter or simmiler circuit used to generate a 12 volt source from the 6 volt battery. The capacitors fail and it quits functioning. Anyway. Comes complete with original box, a soft carry case, two different sets of test leads, user's manual and pocket-size Quick Operating Guide. Also includes a Fluke PM8907 Power Adapter that will both power the Scope Meter from a standard 120 VAC outlet and charge a NiCd battery pack. Note that this meter does not come with a NiCd battery installed. It was originally supplied with one. But when we tested the unit in preparation for this listing we found the battery would not hold a charge. Fortunately this unit is designed to also run off of four C-size alkaline cells; we installed a fresh set of Duracell's. I have a Fluke 97 Two Channel 50 MHz Scope Meter up for sale. The Fluke 97 2 Channel 50 MHz Scope Meter is in good condition. Has been tested, is working but has issues. 1) The channel 1 input is missing the locking tabs for the probe on the connector; the input still works. 2) The Channel 2 input connector is cracked; the input still works. 3) There was some leakage in the battery compartment of the unit; it has been cleaned and works with either alkaline or Ni-Cad batteries. There are some very light scratches on the screen. And marks on the unit, so please view all pictures and ask any questions you may have. The unit comes with 1 Fluke PM8918 Probe, 2 DMM Leads with Grabbers, and Yellow Soft Holster. Vintage Leader Model 300 Digital Oscilloscope. Features 2 channels, a built in digital multimeter, an accessory printer, an accessory logic analyzer attachment, and the option to be battery powered. Fluke 123 Oscilloscope Industrial Scope Meter Works Except Display has Lines
Up for sale is working Fluke 123 Industrial Scopemeter(two channel 20MHz handheld oscilloscope) with mostly complete accessory kit. The meter has had a new battery installed and has all the original accessories except the grey probe is missing its ground clip. The reason the scopemeter is being listed as"for parts not working" is due to the display going out. The ribbon cables connecting the LCD module to the display board are flakey and are what's causing the black lines on the screen. These lines move around and go away periodically with pressure and temperature changes. Basically the ribbon cable isn't making good contact between the LCD and the display board. Aside from this issue the scopemeter works as intended. Probably an easy fix if you know what you are doing. Please be aware that the unit is being sold"AS ... moreIS. with NO RETURNS. Remember.
