Tek Part No. 070-1653-01 First Printing JUNE 1974. This is the classic Tek Manual. As it came from Tektronix. Not a copy. It is almost one inch thick.It contains Specifications, Operating Information, Theory of Operation, Maintenance, Performance Check and adjustments, a replaceable Electrical and Mechanical parts lists, plus diagrams and circuit board illustrations, as well as information on the instrument options. The options are EMI Environmental, TV Sync Separator, and EXT DC Operation. The plastic spline does not have any broken fingers, but it is dirty. The tabs on the pull-out schematics have been gnawed on by silverfish, and are a bit fuzzy, but are readable. The blue covers have some dings, scratches, and rust spots, and the part of the front page that shows through the window in the front cover has been eaten. See Photograph. This scope has a cleaner trace and much better triggering than the Tektronix. It will trigger on signals the Tek will not recognize as a signal. It is also quite sensitive. At 1 MV per division. Pictures show it watching its own test signal. In quite nice condition. Though there is a small crack in the bezel near one screw(see picture) Comes with one probe and the Service Manual!
