The only thing wrong is that the auto sheet feeder tray doesn't pick up paper very well. But manual loading each sheet works perfectly. Odds are. The auto sheet feeder rubber just needs cleaning, because the paper almost loads correctly sometimes. In some of the photos. I show it printing the Self test page. My son watched me print the test page and was blown away by the sight of this amazing machine drawing faster than your eyes can even follow at times. This plotter is very fast. And you can see the blur of the pen as it moves to quickly for the flash to freeze. On the back it has an RS232 port and an HP-IB port. Though I didn't test the ports. This printer worked ... morethe last time I used it a couple of years ago, so I'm fairly sure the ports are fine. It comes with a 14 day return policy. This Auction is for a Used but working Model 221/ 222 Molytek Portable Battery/ AC Chart Recorder. Description and information on basic testing on this is as follows. Box has minor scratches and is missing a small face plate. Manufacture label and model number have been warn down but are readable. Some of the other markings on the back plate are little hard to read but the manual does shows what they say. Has an extra extended cord push button power switch. Inside seemed very clean nice condition. No corrosion as one picture shows. As far as the recorders functionality only a simple test of plugging the unit to power and turning it on was done. When plugged in the battery test switch lights worked as another picture shows. When tested the pen switch started drawing lines on the chart paper. Not sure if it was in an older memory mode or simple ... moretest type mode. The picture with the inked chart line is what took place. Obviously still has ink in the pens. Has 3/4”stack of chart papers still in it and come with a bunch of ink cartridges. Other then this no other tests with the knobs had been done. Comes with operation manual and information on chart/ ink suppliers. This was received as part of a working equipment inventory lot. It had a tag from 6/29/04 stating: Temporarily out of use verify Calibration prior to use. Hopefully someone familiar with this type of equipment can calibrate it and use it. Rustrak 12 Inch Circular Chart Recorder RT-8000 rt8000 digital analog Rustrack
These chart recorders were pulled from service at a local mill very recently. Both were working perfectly when removed from service and have been cleaned up and retested for power on here at the shop. For shop testing we applied 120VAC power and watched the units go through self tests. We observed the displays pass start up tests and also did some limited printing to the paper disk. We did not hook any DC voltage or signaling to the units. Device mounting tabs for each unit are included. Units have been wiped down and blown out. Both are in very nice condition overall. These recorders are very difficult to find in this condition and are not being manufactured any longer.
