Winding key is with it. There is also a key to lock the front. We don't know how to test this. But it does wind up fine and turns as it should. Has a heavy metal case with a round glass window. It uses replaceable marker tips. It has one with it but it's pretty much dried up. There is a little paint around the back edge as if it was hanging on a wall and someone painted around it. Vintage Bristol's Thermo-Humidigraph Wind up model 4069TH with Wind up key and Charts. Up for auction is a vintage Bristol's Thermo-Humidigraph. This is a working unit with rare Swiss made wind up drive. The temperature and humidity reading closely match my digital unit but may be off a 2 degrees. It keeps accurate time and runs over 7 days on one winding. Auction includes partial box of graphs and original winding key. The backside of unit has some white silicone remaining from mounting old box of graphs to back. Looks like it maybe removed by scraping with old credit card. Red and Blue pens are in working condition as shown on test chart. Shipping charge is to lower 48 US states. Alaska and Hawaii will be a little more. Bristol's Model IUD541-24 Voltage Chart Recorder, very good condition
This Bristol Chart Recorder. Model IUD541-24, Serial#542934, was made by The Bristol Company in Waterbury, Connecticut. This is not for measuring temperature rather, it is for recording electrical current over a 24-hour time period. It has a wind-up clock that turns the chart, which moves under the arm that holds the pen. The photos show where the electrical connections are made as well as a switch where you can change from a 115 volt setting to a 230 volt range. This unit winds up smoothly and ticks like a clock while turning the post that holds the chart. The wind up key and a bottle with a small amount of ink are included. This is in very nice condition and the black metal case latches securely. The outside measurements are 10-3/4” wide x 6” deep x 16” high.
