HP 7035B XY Recorder used in OEM application
This sale is for a Grason-Stadler XY recorder(based on a Hewlett-Packard model 7035B) This recorder is working but I’m sure it could use a tune-up. I applied a 0– 5 VDC triangle waveform to the X and Y inputs simultaneously and made a crude plot(didn’t have a proper pen) The picture shows the result. Pretty linear although a little hysteresis(difference between upward scan and downward scan) is seen. This plot has several repetitions and is very reproducible. Unlike the 7035B. This doesn’t have easily adjustable input ranges(there are screwdriver adjustments though) From my crude observation. I would estimate that the current full-scale X voltage is about 4 volts and the current full-scale Y voltage is about 5 volts. You would probably want to adjust ranges with the screwdriver adjustments. The pen up/down switch and the paper hold-down functions ... moreboth work. The OEM panel cover at the top tends to come loose but doesn’t affect operation. Grason-Stadler is still in business. Making hearing-testing equipment. The HP branding is visible on the bottom of the recorder. This sale will include the recorder. Power cord, HP 7035B instruction manual, some dried up pens, and miscellaneous graph paper. I don’t have any usable pens for this but they are usually available on eBay(HP part#5081-1193) Please make an offer if you don't feel the Buy It Now price is reasonable. I might accept it!
