This is a used Linear Pen Plotter. It is a Model 555 and includes a roll of paper that is in it and a pen. There is also a connector cable that has a 1/4 inch stereo connector on it. This unit powers up. The paper feed speed control works and the pen also works. The zero adjust works. I am not equiped to do any other tests on it. I can assume that it works because it was pulled from a working Community College Lab as part of their cycling in newer equipment program. I give a 10 day nonDOA Warranty on it. Obviously I can't guarantee this vintage electromechanical item. But it ran when I applied power to the gearmotor- the chart paper advanced and the needle tapper merrily t icked away. I applied 60 mV to the movement and the needle deflected correctly. It seems to work properly! The face measures about 3-5/8" x 5-5/8" and about 4" deep.

Working Grason-Stadler XY Recorder (HP 7035B variant)
This sale is for a Grason-Stadler XY recorder(based on a Hewlett-Packard model 7035B) This recorder is working but I’m sure it could use a tune-up. I am not able to test it accurately but it did respond appropriately when a 1.5 volt battery was applied to both the X and Y signal inputs. Unlike the 7035B. This doesn’t have adjustable input ranges. From my crude observation. I would guess that the fixed full-scale X voltage is about 5 volts and the fixed full-scale Y voltage is about 10 volts. The pen up/down switch works and the paper hold-down function works(at least to some degree) Grason-Stadler is still in business. Making hearing-testing equipment.
