It comes in a custom wood box that is marked Brown and Sharpe. But it fits properly in the box. The dimensions of the handle are 3 1/2" by 7/8" by 1/2" thick. The head also has a reversible lock bolt, scriber and spirit level. The blade is the 6" 4R grad, hardened steel, machine divided, regular blade, easy read 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64. I purchased this square from a friend getting out of the tooling trade in the mid 80's. It mostly stayed in my tool box drawer. The black enamel finish is in very good condition, minimal paint loss and scratches. The scribe has never been used and moves in and out with a ... moresnug fit. The blade and head metal still has a bright look with some staining from age. It does look a lot better in person. Hard to depict in the photos. This square and blade has not been abused in any way. This is another one of my tools that has not seen the light of day for 25+ years, since retiring in 1992. Somebody put this little guy back to work!
