You are bidding on a NEW Starrett Die maker’s Square with angular adjustment No. 457C. The Starrett 457 Improved Diemakers’ Square is a highly useful tool for tool and diemakers. Especially for measuring die clearances. It is also very handy for patternmakers to check angles and drafts on patterns. The beam of this square is graduated to show the setting in degrees of the blades. Blades can be set for any angle up to 10°, either side of 0º and the angle is indicated by the line on the pointer. Blades included are: 2 1/2” No. 10 graduated on one side for 32nds and 64ths. 2 1/2” bevel with 30 and 45 degree angles, narrow graduated blade 2 1/4” 32nds on one side and 64ths on other side and an offset blade 2 1/4” long. Square body measures 1 13/16” without blade attached and its small compact size and blade options make this a very useful tool for the die maker/ machinist. It is a quality U.S.A. made tool. Condition- Used with light normal wear. This is a clean good working square with no rust. It does have a previous owners initials on side of body.
