Beautiful Starrett No 14-D double steel square. This is a 4 piece set that includes the locking base& 3 attachments. There is a 2.5" graduated blade with 1/32" 1/64" resolution. A beveled blade with 30(or 60 depending on how you use it) 45 degrees, and a 2.5" long non-graduated narrow blade. Set really is in great shape, only real cosmetic flaw is a light stain on the back side of the base that you can see clearly in pic# 3. All of the blades have sharp corners and this set doesn't appear to have been used much at all. Comes in the original box that is a little dirty but it's complete and solid. For sale here is a bevel protractor. Combination square and centering piece. I can't find a makers mark on any of the items. They may or may not be a set. These items all appear to be in very good used condition. The protractor operates smoothly and the level bubble is intact. The combination square is missing a rule and the level bubble is broken. Looks as if it could be replaced easily. The centering piece is missing the locking screw. Protractor measures 7-1/4" long& 3-1/2" high. Square is 4-1/4" long and 3-3/8" high. Centering piece is 2-3/4" tall and 3-1/4" across the span. There are more markings of any kind on these. No maker or owner markings. Antique Starrett Combination square. Here is a classic. Antique sombination square from the Inventor of the combination square, The L.S.Starrett Company. This is from around the 40's maybe early 50's as evidenced by the classic Micrometer, caliper, square logo on the blade and the dimpled castings for the square,center and protractor heads. Square is in exceptional shape. Square has been checked and is true. There are NO PREVIOUS OWNER ENGRAVINGS/ETCHINGS. I will describe each individual piece and grade it on a 1-10 scale with 10 being new. 1) Center Head- Literally appears like it was never used. Black enamel is about 97% present. Grade: 9. 2) No.12 Protractor Head- This too l iterally appears like it was never used. Black enamel is about 98% present. Level vial clear and functional.
