Vintage general radio co. Type 1951-a (audio?) filter from RCA laboratories!
Vintage 1940's or 50's general radio co. type 1951-a filter. Has inputs for 0. 5k, 50k, 500k ohms And a switch that says either 1000c or 400c. I suspect the latter are in Hz or cps as the unit is labeled home instrument adv. dev. This came from the RCA plant in Indianapolis and was used for prototyping new designs and doing research, it was found in a large storage area full of other prototype stuff before the building was scrapped. I assume this went with a general radio audio signal generator but I am unsure. I found pdf manual for it online but eBay kindly won't let me share the link. You suck eBay! Up for bid here is 1 RCA Audio Generator. I purchased a couple of these from an electronics shop that closed down several years ago. I never used either one of them. Didn't really need these as we were interested in other equipment and inventory he had. But these were just part of the package deal. We sold one a few years ago and customer said it worked fine.
