This auction is for a GR Type 1560-P40 Microphone-Preamplifier and microphone capsule. This can be used in a stand alone application or it can be used on a GR sound analyzer such as a 1654. For use w/o a GR instrument it requires about 8 to 15 volts to operate the preamp. This uses a 3 pin XLR connector. Pin 1 is ground. Pin 2 is the DC power(+ 8 to 15v or so) and pin 3 is the preamp output. I tried this out and it works fine. Shipping will be for 2 lbs. by UPS or USPS Priority Mail I'll ship overseas(inc. Vintage 1940's or 50's general radio co. type 1951-a filter. Has inputs for 0. 5k, 50k, 500k ohms And a switch that says either 1000c or 400c. I suspect the latter are in Hz or cps as the unit is labeled home instrument adv. dev. This came from the RCA plant in Indianapolis and was used for prototyping new designs and doing research, it was found in a large storage area full of other prototype stuff before the building was scrapped. I assume this went with a general radio audio signal generator but I am unsure. I found pdf manual for it online but eBay kindly won't let me share the link. You suck eBay! U p for auction is a VINTAGE VACUUM TUBE CHECKER TYPE B. This tube tester is working as of right now. But as with any piece of vintage testing equipment it can work one time and then not the next. This test is very clean for it's age. There is a piece of the case that broke off on the right side(see picture) but it has been glued back on. The three test buttons have some slight signs of wear. The face plate has the numbers of the tubes listed on it so no manual is necessary to use it.
