This auction is for a GR Type 1560-P40 Microphone-Preamplifier and microphone capsule. This can be used in a stand alone application or it can be used on a GR sound analyzer such as a 1654. For use w/o a GR instrument it requires about 8 to 15 volts to operate the preamp. This uses a 3 pin XLR connector. Pin 1 is ground. This auction is for the B&K Instruments model 2807 2 channel microphone power supply as shown in the photos. I plugged this in and connected a scope probe to the back connector. Talking into the microphone made a signal on the screen. As you can see in the one photo. There is the remains of a property sticker on the side. The microphone has a July 1987 calibration date. Bruel & Kjaer 2209 Sound Level Meter w/ 4145 Microphone 1616 1/3 Oct Filter Set
Here's a Bruel& Kjaer model 2209 Impulse Precision Sound Level Meter with a 4145 1" microphone and a 1616 1/3 octave filter set attached. This meter's in pretty good looking condition. It does have some little scuffs and scrapes. The biggest mark on it is on the left side of body near the microphone and is shown close up in one of the pictures above. The filter set's battery compartment is clean. Although the meter itself has some signs of corrosion in there. I put in some batteries and tried it. And everything seems to at least work, the needle moves, the filters seems to be filtering the bandwidths, the peak hold settings hold, and so on. The bulbs all work. Of course I can't verify the calibration, but it doesn't seem to have any problems as far as I can tell. This mic worked perfectly 30 years. And has been in dry storage ever since. You get everything you see, including the 4145 capsule, box, cal chart, and desiccant cap. Back then, it was calibrated at a Bruel& Kjaer service center for sensitivity, a swept response was done with an electrostatic actuator, and the corrected curve plotted. I do not have a preamp, but I did check it for leakage with a capacitor checker and A-OK. I guarantee it to be OK, or you can return it for a refund.
