Has a 20' power cord and a bakelite handle and a stand that the iron slides into. I plugged in the iron and it heated up just fine, the soldering tip does have some corrosion(see photos) the power cord and bakelite handle are in good shape. This station has three separate channels that let the user simultaneously use three separate hand pieces such as three soldering irons or two soldering irons and one desoldering iron. I have replaced the filter underneath the vacuum cap with a new filter. The temperature of the unit's channels have not been calibrated and have only been tested at three separate points(520 F. 700 F, and 800 F) to see that the solder melted faster/slower on a through hole board. The desoldering iron was tested at 700 F and extracted solder as expected. The filter inside the desoldering iron has been emptied of solder, but not replaced. Rail Mounted PACE Soldering Desoldering Iron Holder Stand - Ceramic w/ Sponge
Very nice Pace soldering iron holder. I have used it with a SODR X-TRACTOR and it holds it perfectly. The ceramic insert that holds the iron acts like more of an insulator unlike a metal or aluminum holder. this helps the soldering iron maintain a more stable temperature when the iron is in the holder. This holder mounts on either the left or the right side of the unit with a single screw. There are dimples in the holder that sit in the mounting rail to prevent the holder from spinning. This is a very stable mounting method and cannot be knocked over like a table top stand. The mounting screw was rusted on and had to be drilled out to remove. It is not useable. But will be included for reference. It is a common screw/nut and you should be able to pick up an exact replacement at the hardware store.
