My belief is that it works, however the outer insulation is cut on the cord where it connects to the unit, so it might be advisable to inspect and possibly replace the wiring prior to using it. Up for auction is an American Beauty Resistance Soldering Power Unit model 105-CITL(1.800 Watts) Unfortunately I do not have the electrode cables that go with this unit. It does have a power cord attached and a removable foot control. I intentionally removed the top cover and took pictures of the inside to show you that all is nice and clean and undamaged in there. I also took a couple of pictures showing various voltage output levels. This is a very heavy item and the postage cost reflects this. The postage quoted is for delivery to the East Coast, the closer to San Diego you live the progressively cheaper it will be. San Diego bidders are always welcome to collect an item personally and save postage completely.
