What happened to the temperature control is the wires shorted out in the solder wand on the left side, which appeared to have knocked out the embedded control chip on the front end daughter board(see picture) I could not find the wand for the right side and I needed a functioning soldering station, so after correcting the short, I swapped out the other undamaged daughter board from the right side. I have been using it that way for several years without any issues. I left the bad board unmounted and put it in a baggie, and left it inside the soldering station. This solder station was being thrown away at my work and I snatched it. I was told that 1 or 2 of the channels weren't working. Which means that MAYBE one of the channels does work. I plugged it in and the display came up. SensaTemp? What's that? I don't know but I want it! All buttons appear to work but I don't have any attachments to test it with. This was used in a professional engineering setting and has been well taken care of with the exception of some scratches on the front faceplate. What you get: The unit shown in the above images. I have replaced the filter underneath the vacuum cap with a new filter. The temperature of the unit's channels have not been calibrated and have only been tested at three separate points(520 F. 700 F, and 800 F) to see that the solder melted faster/slower on a through hole board. The desoldering iron was tested at 700 F and extracted solder as expected. The filter inside the desoldering iron has been emptied of solder, but not replaced. Pace MBT soldering rework desoldering station sensatemp? soldr-x-tractor
This is a used PACE MBT soldering rework station controller. I bought it a while back with my soldr-x-tractor desoldering iron. But have since moved that to a dual station unit and no longer need this. The only thing that needs work on this is that the vacuum pump inside occasionally sticks from lack of use, if I poked the cam with my finger it would start spinning fine. It probably just needs to be lubed up or the o-ring replaced. I mainly used it with a soldering iron, so it didn't bother me. There are a few screws missing from the front/ back of the unit. Only the controller itself is included no irons or other accessories, sold as-is no returns. I only ship international through the ebay program and all items are sold as-is no returns due to shipping costs.

This sale is for 1pc Soldering Station and 1pc Iron Stand. No Tips or iron included. The Pace ST 65 is a compact soldering and desoldering station that can reach temperatures over 400 Celsius(800 F) This station can be used as either a regular soldering station. Or can be used as a desoldering station with the required iron. All compatible irons are listed on Pace's website. The iron socket is a round DIN type connector with 6 pins(1 in the center and 5 around it in a ring) I do not have a Pace iron which fits this socket so I cannot verify it's operation other than it powers on. The only identifying mark on the iron holder is 1257-0237. You can find information about this station on Pace's website. I purchase a ST 75 along with this unit as a pair. The 75 works great and is basically the same model just with a different iron ... moresocket so I cannot use my iron to test this ST 65. Thank you for looking!
